Does Pete Radmacher count as easy or hard? Easy in the sense that he didn't have to do anything as a pro to earn the title shot.

Hard in the sense that it was his ****ing pro debut and he's already fighting Floyd Patterson for the HW title.

Zsolt ErdeiThe only decent name on his resume is Julio Cesar Gonzalez, he's the 175 "lineal champ"

Omar Narvaez should be mentioned. This is the same guy who claims to be the Argentinean with more title defenses, breaking Monzon's record.

I agree, but his HW resume thus far is comical. Valuev, Ruiz (Mandatory), Chisora.

I'm in awe of the first video. I really don't know what to say. There was absolutely no reason whatsoever for a stoppage in that exchange of punches. Maybe the clip was taken out of context where Calzaghe was punishing/ dominating him before the stoppage. There's really no other reason why the fight should have been stopped..

I think Eubank was a pretty stiff test for a young fighter who wants a title. Calzaghe had and easy road AFTER winning the title but in terms of who he fought for the title I'd say he had a pretty tough match up.

Harder than Kotelnik for Khan, Rodriguez for Berto.

Malignaggi. I don't even remember who he fought for an alphabet at 140. Was he given it?

I thought this thread already ended when the name 'Joe Calzaghe' got dropped. .

Lov'moer N'dou I believe. Beat him twice. Both awful fights, but he did have to go to hell and back when he fought Cotto so I think he deserved the title shot.
