But the thing is, Pac is the one calling the shots. The fight takes place at the weight he wants. Period.
    Nothing left to say.

If you didn't know this before, you've now learned something new.

so why cant martinez drop to 147 to fight manny then? from 160 to 147 its only 13lbs, brandon rios drop off 157 to 139 thats 18lbs. why is it that when its the other guy then its not ok for him to drop weight but when it comes to manny then its suppose to be ok and if manny doesnt agree to it then he's ducking???

If rios can cut from 157-139 lbs im pretty sure pacquiao can

HECK pacquiao can cut to 135 and fight marquez but he wont????????

It's just like saying, Why can't Rios win 8 belts in 8 different divisions? If Pacquiao can do it, why can't he? Sound ******ed isn't it?

first of all...there not enough Top Rank fighters in that division...secondly, his speed won't be that much of factor like it is at 147 and up....last but not least, he calls the shots...the King is supposed to be unliked....Manny is doing a good job with the unlike part...there are many ppl who are starting to question certain moves....fighting Shane next is more eye opening than his last choice....its like, when will ppl stop whispering and come out and say it straight!!!...EVERYBODY can see whats going on...c'mon now!

because he would end up like 99% of his opponents, weight drained...damaged etc etc....

Cutting, draining, is not good for you and takes from your abilities.

Sure some do it but really it shows they're too heavy for that weight, come in the ring at a much higher weight than they're opponents, causing an un-even, un-fair fight.

Dude, you need to read some books and stuff, it's like a toddler asking the first question that pops into his head every few minutes, that doesn't even listen or learn from the answers.

I bet you still believe in Santa.

Actually, his opponents need to drop weight down to him-even if he is fighting for their belts!

Yes and what we can see is that Pac is the boss, he doesn't have to negotiate really he can tell these guys to come meet him at whatever weight he wants and they can accept the terms or piss off.

That is what happens when you become a big star like Pac has, why would he want to cut weight if he didn't have to?
