Man, if Martinez fights this guy over Pirog I'm gonna lose respect for him. The Cotto fight I can understand because Cotto brings name recognition, but this fight does nothing to make Sergio's stock any bigger and at 35 years old he's on borrowed time.

Cotto, name recoginition...you do know Cotto-Foreman (a stadium fight) made the biggest numbers on HBO in 2010. so he brings more than that to the table.

I don't blame Martinez for taking an easy fight after a hellacious schedule of Bunema (coming off a win over Karmazin, shouldn't have been as easy as it was), Cintron (good fighter, upset specialist who always makes it hard), Williams (P4P fighter), Pavlik (P4P fighter) and Williams (P4P fighter). Plus, it's his mandatory, so he gets to keep his belt.
