Yep, it wasn't really throughout the fight, but it was in those crucial last 3 rounds when Maidana had him hurt

Maidana is a warrior, and Joe Cortez is a ***** who should be banned from boxing. Cortez did a horrible job in 3 huge fights, Hatton/Mayweather Jr., Calzaghe/Hopkins(Cortez literally saw BHOP headbutt Calzaghe and he did nothing about it, there's a gif image of it), and now Maidana/Khan.

Maidana is hurting from the inside. He knows that moment (the tenth round) was his only chance of winning against Khan that is why he is not asking for a rematch he knows that there wouldn't be a 2nd time that same situation could happen if they ever fought again not even with a different ref. Khan, another session with Alex Ariza and Freddie Roach would become too much for Maidana to handle next time around.

Maidana is a little cry baby that got this idea after the fact. He said nothing about it in the post fight interview immediately after the fight. When it comes down to it he deserves everything going wrong for him that night. Would never touch up with Khan and tried to sucker punch him during the opening bell touch up that has become customary in boxing. Punks finnish last and this is just another example of that.
