maidana is delusional, 1st he thinks hes sergio martinez by getting the same hair doo prob with the same g*y oxnard barber they have, now he thinks the ref was going to punch him...well i dunno what fights you have in argentina but refs in the US dont punch other boxers.

Saw the referee's performance and nothing wrong with what i saw from him, Maidana was deducted a point for throwing his elbow after Cortez broke them up, Maidana also was doing alot of rabbit punches that Cortez didnt do anything about, I think the KD/Kidney shot mess up Maidana gameplan/head really bad.

This guy gets to involved in his fights. I have to agree with BodyMovin that this guy was selected purposefully for this fight knowing full well that he kills the pace of the fight when fighters clinch. If you fight your best while on the inside, like Maidana, then someone like Cortez will **** your game up.

The ref broke them up too many times when he didn't have to. That's pretty much my only gripe with him.

Khan's ko in rd 1 basically won him the fight. Maidana was gassing early due to that hit. I also suspect that that is the main culprit in why he couldn't take Khan out in the 10th. Besides him not thinking straight and going for the body, his punches weren't that strong anymore.

Yes sir oLD fair and firM ain't what he used to be. Over the past two or three years he has really fouled up, first starting with interfering with Hatton against yO mangweather, yep shore nuff.

Then the Soto fight with that dude that made out like he was dying, hahaha

People I understand you're concerns about Cortez, but this is nothing new is it? This guy must have a serious hatred for inside fighting/clinching.

Nevertheless he was certainly fair on some points.

Khan is not and will not be a super star, cortez is garbo, instead of reffing he babysat Khan. Khan won but he was treated.
