Yup, menefee's pretty good.
I liked being able to year roy and Antonio on the same night. I thnk they both bring excellent and sometimes even eloquent insight but I find roy more entertaining. Roy did a great job talking about amateur fights these guys had and buffeting a bit of lamps' homerism. Tarver has a better overall team around him.
Listening to roy makes me even more pissed at hbo for making me have to hear lennox for like the last 5 years. How do you go from roy to tryouts with lennox and hire him????? They could have hired freakin Joe mesi and he would have been a better commentator.
I know hbo wants big names only though.Comment

I see just coming with out with a bold statement so you can proclaim yourself genius if it comes true
The Maidana fight showed me that Khans chin and heart have been underrated and his skills have been overrated, a fantastic fighter on the outside with sharp straight combos and a great body shot, but I think someone will beat the **** out of him on the inside he cant cope well in that instant, he also wasn't very smart when he was hurt he just showed a strong chin. Anyway, the future of boxing is Jesse Vargas, if him and Khan ever meet he gets whooped

BTW, I agree with you about Khan's inside game. But he's so damn fleet of foot it's hard to keep him there!Comment

I'm not sure Roach likes or is able to teach inside fighting, I was thinking about this the other day, none of the fighters hes honed have had any to speak of. The only fighters I can think of would be Hopkins and Toney and they were simply veterans that hired him on a few occasions and both fighters weren't too successful with him. Maybe I'm wrong and forgetting someone but it seems to make sense to me.Comment

Totally agree. I see the same thing in Pacquiao - his inside skills are almost comical. But Roach is a master at teaching them little things that they can exploit in their foes. It's weird to me because Eddie Futch taught in-fighting very well. Ahh well.I'm not sure Roach likes or is able to teach inside fighting, I was thinking about this the other day, none of the fighters hes honed have had any to speak of. I thought Toney was successful with Roach(minus the PED's that is)I'm not sure Roach likes or is able to teach inside fighting, I was thinking about this the other day, none of the fighters hes honed have had any to speak of. He did beat Jirov with Roach in a very good fighter...Underrated fight.Comment

I think he meant that Toney was already a very good in-fighter. He practically was coming out of birth. Those Michigan gyms, man...Comment
