I'm not saying Khan's chin is great. I'm saying it's NOT glass. IMO it's decent.

Let's say Bradley got hit that many times in the 10th round. You telling me he would just stand there? Come on. I'm not saying Khan has a better chin than him. But loads of good elite fighters would have been hurt in that same situation. Maidana is a HARD puncher and would hurt 99% of all fighters at 140 with those shots. THAT is a fact. If you disagree, you are saying that Maidana ain't a hard puncher because guess what? Hard punchers like Maidana can knock out anyone, glass chin or not it doesn't matter.

Khan proved he couldn't stop from getting hit? What did MM prove, that he can get hit in the chin, but not in the gut?

Again, this is Boxing, and your logic is like an as*hole on your elbow..useless.
lol...ur obviously not understanding what happened in the fight. im saying khan's defense is not effective enough to keep him from getting hit.
yes its boxing and ppl get hurt. thats true. but khan was supposed to be great. he talked like he was ppl on here hype him like he is. he didnt look great in there tonite.

imagine, just imagine if that had been tim bradley. imagine the threads we would have seen?? its sad really. bradley got flashed by witter and ppl were talking ****.

        What did Maidana prove?

        Are you being intentionally absurd?

Maidana figured out a very deadly opponent in Khan. He finally figured out a way to catch him and hit him. Khan can wing off quicksilver combinations and has decent power, good mobility.. Sometimes he just freezes on the ropes though and lets Maidana land arcing combos. But those body shots he threw (though he didn't throw many for some reason) are deadly

So Maidana has heart obviously.. and a fighting cunning about him. He's not as "brainless lot of heart" as people make him out to be.

there arent loads of elite fighters. and do i think bradley takes those punches??? yea he probably does. koltenik took em pretty well, even ortiz took them well even tho he quit like a *****. khan was out on his feet, there is a difference u kno??? but whatever. if go read what i wrote i said the same thing.

Alexander didn't look very great at all vs Kotelnik. Infact he pretty much lost. No matter what the "official" scorecards where.

Great fighters, even guys like ODLH where in hard close fought battles. Mayweather arguably lost the first fight vs JLC. I could go on and on and on...

Give Khan the respect he deserves, he beat Maidana clearly. Most people on here thought he was a "glass chinned fraud" and Maidana would knock him out the first punch he landed. He proved that wrong.

not even a big Amir fan. Just think your logic is insanely ******.

You really basing this on Amir calling himself great..Geez, how many fighters call themselves great?..that is laughable.

For the record, not one fighter in the history of Boxing has a defense effective enough in where they don't get hit.

              really?

Kotelnik and Ortiz weren't catched with THAT many hard shots. Khan was spanked around the ring for the whole duration of the 10th round and were caught with idk how many hard punchers from ONE OF THE HARDEST PUNCHERS IN THE FREAKING SPORT. Jeez no wonder he got badly hurt.

Hard punchers like Maidana can hurt ANYBODY. If he couldn't, then he is not really a hard puncher.

yea the fighters u named had hard fought battles, but then never looked this bad. never. not to mention everyone oscar struggled with is < maidana and castillo < maidana not to mention he was sooo much more bigger than a mayweather nursing a bad shoulder.

anyways thats all moot. if khan doesnt get as much credit, its his fault. he was the one comparing himself to the likes of mayweather and pacquaio. i expected a lot more from him, i expected a dominating performance, instead he was lucky to get out alive. is there a problem stating these things whern u have a fighter talking about how great they are on twitter?? well excuse me for not being a mindless drone.

What!!!! Ortiz was massively hurt by the right hand after the first knockdown, he was on ***** street when he got up and that was a straight right at the start of the fight, khan got hit with a arching right hook which maidana wound up, he couldn't have landed a better shot on khan's chin...and he didn't go down, you get some perspective.

I agree khan's defence needs work, he is not the finished article...but is one hell of a fighter. You been hating on khan for the longest anyway don't know why I am bothering.
