    Khan's chin tested at 140

If Khans chin is so terrible how come Maidana hit it several times with clean shots, and he never went down?

And Maidana didn't answer yes to rematch in post fight interview, he says he will fight whoever ... (he thinks he can KO and Khan is clearly not one of them).

Thought it was a hell of a fight. Khan tasted the canvas before, obviously been KO'd before, so him sucking it up and pushing through that 10th round was a true test and he passed with flying colors.

Cannot take jabs at his chin anymore from some of these posters. I think he shut them all up in that 10th.

    awesome fight IMO.

if only it was not the 10th round or if only maidana had more energy left he wouldve taken khan out for sure.

If only there were 30 more seconds in round 1, then Maidana would have been in the showers early.

        Right?

propably. but we're talking bout khans chin here. he was hurt VERY badly and as i said if maidana had more energy or even more luck to get 1 more good shot in that wouldve been it.

His chin is fine...it was obviously the weight, we have seen this before with cotto, khan can improve a lot though, he still shouldn't be getting hit as much as he does. This was stylistically at least the toughest fight out there for him at 140, he had to fight within himself so he didn't get caught swinging. I think against boxers with less power you will see more of his offensive arsenal. The haters should really give it a rest with the excuses its plain embarrassing. He answered every question, when everyone complained about cortez after hatton-mayweather none of them wanted to hear it, and he affected hatton's game plan far worse than maidana. Marcos doesn't ever really know how to fight on the inside anyway, he doesn't know how to get leverage on his shots properly, khan was safer there then when cortez did break them up and he could wind up a big shot...some people on nsb don't know the first thing about boxing, its hard to deal with

We are talking about his chin. Did it hold up? Are you suggesting it was only Maidana's conditioning that hindered him, and Khan's chin and conditioning had nothing to do with it?

Get real here. One more good shot? How many did he land? Amir was dead on his feat, but didn't go down, that's Boxing son.

It doesn't matter. Yes he was hurt very badly... But glass chinned fighters wouldn't have been hurt badly, they would have been down on the canvas.
Khan does not have a glass chin. A glass chinned fighter would NEVER in a million years have taken those shots without going down.

Any one can say If this and If that, If Maidana had the stamina of Pacquiao or Sergio Martinez.

                    Maidana says himself:-
“I came one punch short of winning,” he said but he also admired how Amir was “able to take my punches.”
