how about this, of all the great fighters from the last 2 decades, name some that didnt have good chins but made it, so far i have 3:

    1. vladimir klitschsko
    2. lennox lewis
    3. roy jones jr.

^all of those guys were extremely hard to hit clean. khan isnt(well not yet anyways).

Any one can be put out... I dont think he would want to be Maidana he is never going to be elite, is a street fighter.

Com'on kid you are just hating here, I am no Amir fan but he got my respect for fighting through that 10th round. This is boxing, and a fighter no matter how good/great he is will be tagged with a good shot, and unlike in the Presscot fight, Amir is more experienced now in handling the situation and has more beef in him to withstand prolonged effect of the punch.. Amir is only 24, he will improve tremendously....

I never said anything about that. But you are crazy if you think most fighters wouldn't be hurt in that 10th round. And I'm not saying ALL fighters would be hurt, I'm saying most.

Again, this is boxing. Fighters get hurt, fighters get knocked down, fighters get stopped. It doesn't mean they have a glass chins.

Glass chinned fighters would never have taken those shots without going down, its a fact.

JUst gotta laugh at the ignorance.
uhh are u ******ed??? even in the prescott fight he was hurt at first then put out later. if maidana wasnt tired and cortez didnt keep him back, khan could have been finished. its quite simple. his chin barely held up because he barely escaped. dont be ******ed.

who cares about most fighters?? im talking about the great ones. oscar de la hoya is constantly being compared to amir khan, do u think he'd have been hurt in that round??? hell no. just stating the facts. amirs chin is far from world class. why is that hard to believe???

Yes Khan was out on his feat, but that's Boxing! His conditioning pushed him through. He didn't go down. Boxers get hit, Boxers get hurt, it's what you do when you get hurt.

He showed he can take a punch, be hurt, and still have the sense to stay on his feet, and do what he did tonight...again, welcome to the world of Boxing.

Khan proved he couldn't stop from getting hit? What did MM prove, that he can get hit in the chin, but not in the gut?

Again, this is Boxing, and your logic is like an as*hole on your elbow..useless.

yea, thats true but even a street fighter was able to humble a guy thinking he was good enough to be compared to manny p. and floyd mayweather. just saying keep the perspective.

How many more punches did MM need to land? Maybe his power is not what you thought it to be.

..but but if Midana wasn't tired he coulda woulda shoulda..

Again, his chin didn't barley hold up, it DID hold up for the obvious reason.

                      ******.
