Khan did his thing tonight. Maidana is a bull man. I definitely think the fight would have been much closer with a better Ref. Cortez gets way too involved in his fights. Both guys guys def showed haeart, and Khan was rocked but he pushed himself to stay on his feet and finish. I have alot of repsect for him now more than i did before.

Khan wasn't "HURT BAD"... I don't consider getting hit with a bomb, slightly losing your balance. hurt bad...

He showed he can take a shot, and he isn't as china chinned as people thought.

You must be joking....Khan's legs were quivering-a clear sign of a nervous system response from an impact to the head.It was not "balance loss" or whatever you want to minimize it as...Amir's chin will always give him problems-if he didn't hold for half the night,he would have been finished.I don't know why he is calling out Floyd,when Bradley or Alexander are probably licking their chops after watching that fight.
If Maidana had half a brain,he would have timed his right hand when Amir was circling TOWARDS it!

Come on, another big shot would've finished. Khan obviously deserved to win, and he took Maidana's best shots and came through it well but theres no need to pretend he wasn't rocked a couple of times.

Even the best fighters get hurt, although I do disagree with BPP putting it in the thread title, shows a lack of respect for Khan's performance and doesn't tell the full story at all.

Good post. I agree with you. But, there is always hating on forums. I think its immaturity, or just ******ity.

I am Argentinian, and Khan won that fight. Maidana showed balls, and I would watch him any day of the week.

Be sure to let us know what the Argentinian press think of Joe Cortez's refereeing.
