That was a really good fight!!! Kuddos to both fighters...they put up a show...Amir impressed me how he took it to Maidana at the begining of the fight, dropped him w/ a beautiful shot to the body...Maidana made adjustments and Amir couldn't work the body like he did in the 1st couple of rounds...Man, Khan survived the fight cause he invested in the body on the early rounds, if not Maidana would KO him...and YES people, Amir WAS REALLY HURT!!! but he proved a lot of heart, he could easily and hold to survived but he didn't and took it like a man!!! Impress w/ both fighters!!! Maidana finished really strong but was gassed.

Amir is a very good fighter, a lot of skills, but he is a KO to happen...which make his fights exciting!!!

I hope Amir and his team stop calling Floyd...not in the same league!!!
I wouldn't mind a re-match!!!

Maidana was hurt far worse in there then Khan

Excellent fight by Khan he came through there.. i am sure Maidana would beat Alexander and probably Ortiz again.. not sure about Bradley.

I had Maidana winning 3 rounds and one of those 10-8 rest for Khan

You must be joking....Khan's legs were quivering-a clear sign of a nervous system response from an impact to the head.It was not "balance loss" or whatever you want to minimize it as...Amir's chin will always give him problems-if he didn't hold for half the night,he would have been finished.I don't know why he is calling out Floyd,when Bradley or Alexander are probably licking their chops after watching that fight.
If Maidana had half a brain,he would have timed his right hand when Amir was circling TOWARDS it!

I don't really care what the press have to say. I am a boxing fan and I know when a fighter is getting jobbed. We all knew that Khan is the favorite for HBO.
But Joe Cortez didn't do anything blatant to suggest some biasness. Yeah, Khan held, and pulled Maidana's head down a lot. But you know what, 99.9 % of refs do not deduct points for these offenses.

Until they make a rule for holding, which I think they should by the way, you can't fault a ref for not deducting points.

khan is fast and quick and flashy but he is no where near polished in any way.
