Lets get this straight Khan has better punch resistance than maidana. Who got floored? MAidana not khan. Khan is the real deal and he'll learn tremendously from this fight trust me. He shows a granite chin and a lions heart, most fighters ala ortiz wudda quit. Khan is the real deal show him respect, he will beat bradley and alexander coz we now know he can take their shots.

Props to Amir Khan for showing heart and chin.
Props to Maidana for showing heart, will and for giving a great fight. I'm a Maidana fan now.

Amir needs to listen to his coach more and Maidana needs to get a better coach. I think Maidana can get in the P4P list if he gets a better trainer. Maidana's power and will are top class. His skills can improve with a better trainer.

I don't know why Amir didn't outbox Maidana. One or two rounds of punishment is enough to show you have a good chin but not 3 or 4 rounds! Either way the haters can shut up now. Stop saying Amir doesn't have a chin. He has a great chin. Didn't touch the ground once against a huge power puncher with a 90% KO ratio.

I was surprised, if Maidana hits Bradley or Devon with the same punches they'll go down, especially Bradley who was dropped twice against Holt...would love to see a rematch between Maidana vs Kotelnik

maidana is a terminator, no doubt in my mind. big props to amir for surviving in there with a beast. i knew khan had the speed and ring generalship to put up a clinic but, more importantly, i was impressed how his chin held up and held his ground, he did everything he was supposed to do against this fucking cyborg. amir undoubtedly won this fight but somehow, i'm an even a bigger fan of el chino now. dude scares the shit out of me. no one could've survived that body shot.

Maidana is a dirty fighter, so stfu about cortez helping Khan. In boxing, you stop when a fighter hugs, and since when has t been bad when a fighter is hurt.

Maidana was the challenger, not the champ.

Maidana the *** knew he had to get the KO, but he didn't.

Khan has a better chin than we all thought, but he performance was poor today.

Maidana has a great chin, better than I expected.

Khan could have elected to run, but he traded from the mid rounds and got caught. Dumb move but he held on for dear life abd Maidana couldn't drop him.

All I can say is, great fight.

The only criticism I have is AMIR needs to jab. The combinations are there, everything is there. He needs to keep Maidana at bay by jabbing. Other than that, he is awesome in his fast combinations.

Aside from a consistent jab, he needs more head movement and feints, to set up his power shots...

Really scared? How does a scared person dominate a fight then? Maidana as predicted got his one shot in, but Khan widstood it and and held on.

That's a sign of a true champian, I can see Khan unify the division from here.

you do realize maidana was tired when he hurt him his will carried him the rest of the fight thats why hes a champion and just by reading from what the fans are saying he has won way more fans over then khan has after tonight but i do agree khan would beat alexander and bradley hes just to long and they dont have the power. ive said maidana and khan are the best at 140
