people act as if cortez was in there taking those bombs ..... what were people saying b efore ?as soon as maidana landed khan will be out khan doesnt have the heart to get through a real fight etc. what i saw was a fighter who has the weakest chin out of the top 140lbers take on the hardest puncher in the division and get through it displaying , grit , heart and even flaws which almost cost him but he never gave up

what will people say next? maidana wasn't a big puncher?

I love how people went from saying Khan has a weak chin (before this fight) to now jumping on the Ref won the fight bandwaggon.

And they'll probably always ride on it till Khan gives Maidana a Rematch.

Khan should give Maidana a rematch after the real unified champ Kotelnik gets a rematch.

wtf where you talking where you waching the fight?. Cortez is he worse ref ever. He didnt let maidana work on the inside every time they got close he would seperate them. Maidanas chance was fighting in the inside and cortez took that away. But dam maidana is a beast getting up from the worst type of shot the liver shot. i cant recall seing a fighter get up from that shot. But khan has skills has improved greatly would love to see a rematch with out cortez. But khan should move on to fight against the winner of the other fight. And if they keep on winning both they should have the rematch down the line.

what fight were u watching ,. thats not boxing, if u call rabbit punching and elbowing all nite, an inside game then u obviously dont like boxing.

if cortez let maidana get away with anymore **** tonite it wud have been like when Hatton beat up Kosta Tszyu with that ******ed ref letting him get away with everything under the sun.

Khan risking himself taking Maidana's big shots in late rounds, should he keep moving he could avoid that almost knocked down, i think Maidana was frustrated becoz he keeps taking shots from KHan and could not land much to him. Best strategy till the middle rounds, damn this is actually very close to Maidana's night. What a beast Maidana, his face was just fine, this fight goes to 15th i take Maidana.

Amir needs to listen to his coach more and Maidana needs to get a better coach. I think Maidana can get in the P4P list if he gets a better trainer. Maidana's power and will are top class. His skills can improve with a better trainer.

I don't know why Amir didn't outbox Maidana. One or two rounds of punishment is enough to show you have a good chin but not 3 or 4 rounds! Either way the haters can shut up now. Stop saying Amir doesn't have a chin. He has a great chin. Didn't touch the ground once against a huge power puncher with a 90% KO ratio.

LOL at all the haters blaming cortez. Maidana is probably the dirtiest fighter ever non stop rabbit punching, elbows, instead of tapping gloves at the start he went for khans head! Khan won that fight, it could have been an early night 2 if khan went for the BODY! Anyway, this fight shows Khan has a good chin lol he took about 20 shots to the chin and never was dropped. I don't see anybody beating him at 140...

I've noticed that. I wouldn't totally blame Cortez for siding with Khan, Maidana's at fault too. That doesn't change the fact that Cortez is past his prime and should retire though.

maidana kept coming forward and khan started to run after round 3 when he felt maidanas power and in the middle rounds maidana mocked khan put his hands down wanting khan to throw but khan kept moving around like a little girl he was really scared of khan alright????

Really scared? How does a scared person dominate a fight then? Maidana as predicted got his one shot in, but Khan widstood it and and held on.

That's a sign of a true champian, I can see Khan unify the division from here.
