LOL at all the haters blaming cortez. Maidana is probably the dirtiest fighter ever non stop rabbit punching, elbows, instead of tapping gloves at the start he went for khans head! Khan won that fight, it could have been an early night 2 if khan went for the BODY! Anyway, this fight shows Khan has a good chin lol he took about 20 shots to the chin and never was dropped. I don't see anybody beating him at 140...

great job by Khan. have to hand it to him, but he did have a tough time finishing Maidana when he had the chance early and it cost him bigtime. maidana gained momentum and he even had a brilliant moment where he mocked Khan. the big shot came and i thought Khan was in trouble enough for some refs to call it but Cortez did seem to favor Khan at times. Maidana was having success on the inside and was trying to punch out but the ref was always there to step in when he seemed to have the opportunity. Still, Khan outboxed him, showing crisp combos and a great footwork, he will be tough for anyone to beat but punchers like Maidana will always test that chin. Bradley whoops them both IMO.

Respect for your comments. I gained a hell of a lot of respect for Maidana even more so after the way he just does not give a f'uck about anything that is going on and he will just come forward all night long. He did make me laugh with his reaction after the body shot but he got the hell up and almost got the KO. What a fight. Khan better thank Ariza because those legs were shaky than a mofo at the end of 10. I was more worried about Freddie in all this cos he was talking about Amir being the next Manny and all that but his chin is still suspect and if he meets a fast puncher like Berto then it could be lights out for Amir.

haha yeah, everything about maidana reminds me of mickey from snatch. from the don't give a fuck attitude, the power, the heart, the guts, to the way he sits on the stool in between rounds. he's really a character.
