Cortez basically kept Khan from getting Knocked Down!


Khan gets destroyed but Bradley and/or Alexander and he needs to stop all the talk about "Fight Mayweather" because clearly he is not CLOSE to being ready for someone like Mayweather, accurate punchers will have no problem with Khan, especially then way he defenses, Maidana had no problem getting those uppercuts threw his guard

Yes Khan got rocked but yes he was fighting pound for pound one of the heaviest punchers in boxing today.

Yes Khan was stunned but he held on like a true champ and showed the heart of a LION.

Also Maidana has alot of heart and is a real warrior but what a dirty SOB the elbow and don't forget he tried to KO Khan when Khan tried to touch gloves in the 1st and 11th.

Also don't complain about Cortez you asses he was hardly involved and Maidana was getting away with tons of rabbit punches.

Khans only 24 and will get better. I feel he will be perfect at 147.

khan is the ****. ...he picked the most dangerous hardest hitting puncher in his division and took him to school... great win foe khan....hope he fights the winner of Bradley/alexander next...great win. great fight ...easily the Fight of the Year.

the funny thing is cortez was like 10x worse in this fight. khan was on ***** street and cortez was pushing maidana off when it was khan who was holding. its not khans fault but i think he wold have been koed of not for cortez.

i remember ONE time when cortez broke it up and kinda seemed to drag on before giving the OK to continue the fight, ONE time, and i knew straight away boxingscene was gonna go all gay and exaggerate things like the usual brain dead hating/bandwagon fa.ggots in NSB are and say **** like cortez kept maidana from ko'ing khan.
and after that it was alot of khan holding maidana's right arm and maidana was whailing away with 6-7 left hooks and uppercuts on khan till khan would move into a hug and then cortez would break it up

and maidana obviously doesn't want a rematch by his reaction, it was obvious, he felt every punch

maidana kept coming forward and khan started to run after round 3 when he felt maidanas power and in the middle rounds maidana mocked khan put his hands down wanting khan to throw but khan kept moving around like a little girl he was really scared of khan alright????

I love how people went from saying Khan has a weak chin (before this fight) to now jumping on the Ref won the fight bandwaggon.

And they'll probably always ride on it till Khan gives Maidana a Rematch.
