You gotta give Maidana credit...He made this a very close fight. If he had the stamina for 12 rounds and had gotten inside more without getting pulled away, he probably would have won.

Cortez was absolutely the perfect referee for Khan this fight. wow man, Chino will be good his next time out (which should be against Ortiz or Peterson)....and hopefully he earns a rematch.

The only criticism I have is AMIR needs to jab. The combinations are there, everything is there. He needs to keep Maidana at bay by jabbing. Other than that, he is awesome in his fast combinations.

Khan was impressive for a little while last night until Maidana stunned him. Khan is just to vulnerable against elite fighters in my opinion, he often opts to run when he's in trouble, and seems to get to careless.

Marquez would have finished Khan last night had he been in Maidana shoes. It was just lucky that Maidana had nothing left in the tank come the 11th round.
