ricky hatton walks around at 180 pounds, and sheds down to 140 and he only lost to floyd and manny--and it had nothing to do with weight--he was outskilled---loud canadian doesn't know too much about boxing--i'm a fighter---i know shedding water weight can drain you---ask manny's opponents---the ts needs serious help---

He also went on to say anyone at that weight class would have done that or something to that effect that they would have done the same thing that mayweather did

So one of floyds best wins was really amplified becoz of the scales .... just like pacquiao right?

Floyd was on PEDs. He didn't do random blood testing to make an even playing field.

Floyd didn't knock him out.......he didn't even really have him that hurt as i could see.....he just got him off balance again and again. That's the thing about Corrales...he didn't exactly have the best footwork.

Here's something else to ponder. Deigo had some good wins at 130 after the Mayweather fight, and he also lost then beat Casamayor in two fights at 130.

Also he had conditioning coach extraordinaire Alex Ariza in his corner. Or maybe Alex wasn't in the PED game back then

coralles's weight gain fight night was no different than de la hoya's and baldomir's when they fought floyd--like the above post, diego's footwork was always stiff--he kept his feet to square--because he was a puncher--the threadstarter doesn't know **** about boxing, and was just going off of what shane said---i bet you all right now that the little ****er is on google trying to research some more **** to come on here and present it as something credible---like manny fans seem to do more often than not-lol---

G doggy dog - how was he weight drained when he hadn’t fought higher than super featherweight before Floyd? He didn’t go up in divisions and come back down to fight Floyd, he was at the division they fought at. I feel like ppl who dislike Floyd for whatever reason will literally try to discredit every single win he had lol it’s kinda weird. And I find it funny that manny pacquiao drains the **** outta fighters that Floyd went up to their class to fight but they were past their primes when Floyd fought them but afterwards manny fights them at catchweights and gets full credit lmao saying corrales was drained is like saying Errol Spence and Crawford was drained when they fought. Both guys had never fought higher than welterweight but still had trouble making weight. U think going from 150-135 is draining? How heavy do u think Floyd walks around at? Less? Na lol…Spence and Crawford walk around at 180 and fight at 47. What manny did wit de la Hoya is a weight drain and he only had to make 144 for a 154 title while his opponent had to come to 150. Corrales wasn’t drained.

I’m no Mayweather fan by a long shot but that was Diego’s weight class. Not only that but he did go up to 135 and then 138 after and came right back down again to fight Casamayor TWICE at 132.
Corrales is what fan girls in here call a “weight bulky”. It was his choice and it was a huge advantage for him.
He was a monster. It was a ligit a-as whippin.

A loss is a loss and a win is a win. Winning isn't 100% about the skill of the fighter it's about the skills of the fighter and his team.
The fight begins at the signing of the contract (or maybe even before) A boxing coach and manager is supposed to advance as many advantages to their fighter as possible. Mayweather happens to be a better boxer with a better team.
