He fought Floyd at 130, went to jail then came over a year later and fought at 130 again for a couple more fights.

Maybe if out of jail he would of went straight to 135 that argument could have been more valid.

But, since he went back to 130 I don't see how he would have been drained at 130 against Floyd a year earlier.
Thread should have been locked right after this post.

decent puncher? that mother****er was a great puncher at 130----that's where majority of his ko's and tko's came at---and as far a diego--he did lose some pounds to fight floyd, but he also was going after floyd's title---came in 12 or 13 lbs over 130 if im not mistaken--maybe even a little more and floyd did not make him weight a certain weight to keep the fight alive---deigo was having legal issues when he was building himself up to fight floyd and that contributed to his weight gain i heard---the stress plagued him a little but he did fight at 130 again after he fought floyd so this argument is pointless---

this was floyd's greatest performance---and diego was just outclasse and outgunned---he was too slow--that had nothing to do with his weight--he has never been a fast puncher--NEVER---but a strong puncher--and floyd dictated him from the start to the very end---

manny, made his opponents weight a certain amount on the scales---and he demanded floyd pay 10 million dollars for every pound floyd came in over 147----and floyd agreed---

now, that's shallow right there---did floyd ever demand this for any fighter? hell no----don't even compare this coralles fight to what manny has been doing----you won't win---

this thread was just another attempt to discredit floyd--as usual-lol--and it failed---again as usual---

imagine being 6'1 at 23 years old having to cut 18 POUNDS of water just to make the weight. that takes a toll on your body

and boxzilla, that last post was not completely directed at you, just the decent puncher part-lol--sorry dude, i had to do it man---floyd punched at his best at 130 until he got to 140--then that became his best---

and actually, floyd was having a hard time making weight at 130 also---he kept himself in shape, yes, but floyd put on a lot of weight at 130 the same day of the fights----he had to move up---and it was around this time also where he started struggling with the weight also---

yes, this is true, but diego did not shave 18 pounds of water weight to fight floyd---he was at 135 pounds(maybe a little heavier)---floyd was heavier also before the fight(by like 4 or 5 pounds, he reyhrated to around 136 or 137 pounds fight night)---they both shaved weight--this is true--trust me--i know what i'm talking about kid---
