Even if he had some problems G-dog, its his own fault and you can't bash Floyd for that even if you can for many other things.

That was one of the 1st Floyd fights I ever saw and I was impressed with his skill and speed.

pfff his own fault? yea its his fault he was a 6''1 giant and a BIG pay day was at 130. Guarentee if the fight was at 135 it would have been a different story. Floyd beat a weight drained Corrales and Sugar shane even said so himself

Floyd was not a big name in 01 or 02 which ever year this took place, I saw it when it aired live and really wasn't familiar with Floyd. There was no internet as we know it back then so the only time Floyd could get any press was before a fight and I think this was only his 20th or something so there wasn't much hype surrounding him then.

Did you ever watch the fight? Floyd was just better in all aspects of the game, too fast, too skilled, and he could crack at lower weights.

Everyone is different, he could have easily just moved up and not taken the fight as it really wasn't a big fight and if anything Chico was the bigger name at the time, but as someone said he came back after his incarceration and fought at 130 again.

I remember Nate Campbell when calling a fight talking about how Chico walked around at 160, this may have been typical of him during those times.
