Diego Corrales was weight drained against Mayweather

Sugar Shane even said it in an interview im trying to find it on youtube as we speak. Diego had to lose 18 lbs of water weight. Like Shane said you never see floyd knock anyone out like that before then all of a sudden he does this to a big guy? He also went on to say anyone at that weight class would have done that or something to that effect that they would have done the same thing that mayweather did

So one of floyds best wins was really amplified becoz of the scales .... just like pacquiao right?

No Corrales was not weight drained.

He fought Floyd at 130, went to jail then came over a year later and fought at 130 again for a couple more fights.

Maybe if out of jail he would of went straight to 135 that argument could have been more valid.

But, since he went back to 130 I don't see how he would have been drained at 130 against Floyd a year earlier.

floyd was a decent puncher at 130 so him getting stoppages at that weight class was something he achieved on a regular basis ... if corralles was having difficulties making 130 why did he continue to fight in that division for so long after?

Who do you think wins if Corrales wasn't "weight drained"?

having to cut 18 lbs of water and being 6''1 and going to 130 lbs is quite a task.
