Thank God Manny doesn't need Floyd.

For his legacy he certainly does. All fighters need each other. They need each other to make money and to create greatness. In all honestly, Manny has not had an impressive win in the last 5 years. If you call getting outboxed by Marquez, knocking him down 4 times, and STILL winning what is a famed debatable decision and a bunch of nobodies who outweigh him, "a cemented legacy" then you are wrong.

As a matter of fact, beating Floyd is the only way anybody can convince me that Pacquiao is a bonafide ATG.

He hasn't fought any top contenders at 135 (only David Diaz), nor did he fight the top guys at 140 (only Ricky Hatton). Those are pretty good deep divisions, yet Pacquiao took the easy belts and moved on.

Greatness is made by fighting GOOD fights.

Take a page from Joe Frazier, fighting the who's who, putting on shows that will be remembered forever like THE FIGHT OF THE CENTURY and THRILLA IN MANILLA.

What do we get from Pacquiao? "The event" vs Joshua "who the **** is this?" Clottey?

Floyd's greatness is well known throughout most boxing analysts, as most of them pick Floyd to win, as do most retired boxers (Oscar DLH, Shane Mosley, Fernando Vargas, etc). so if that's really true then a catchweight should be implemented in a 3rd fight with Pacquiao and Marquez to make it fair, it shouldn't be like that just one way, it shouldn't be fair for Manny to ask for a catch weight yet Marquez or other opponents can't ask him to do it, it's hypocritical, disrespectful and simply unfair and he's trying to justify his bullshit by acting like it's an honor to face him, like he's not just a fighter at the end of the day.
