I think Floyd can whoop him with or without that **** in him, but why let my son take a risk that can be prevented. Take the tests and you got a fight, it's that simple. Floyd would love that fight," stated world-class trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr., who repeated Team Mayweather's stance on random Olympic-style blood testing leading all the way up to the bout if there's ever any hope of the two best fighters in the world facing off. You don't want to miss what else he had to say as Big Floyd shares his thoughts on a potential Pacquiao-Mosley clash and sets the record straight regarding comments he made that were taken out of context. Check it out!

    PC: How is everything going?

FM: Everything is going good man. I got a lot of things going on right now. I'm doing the book, I'm looking into a few reality shows, and me and Jack Mosley is going to do this tournament thing.

PC: I never heard anything about a tournament with you and Jack. What's that?

FM: Yeah, me and Jack going to be doing this tournament. I can't say too much about it right now, but like I said man, I got a lot on the table right now; staying busy.

PC: That sounds pretty cool man. It appears Mosley/Pacquiao will be out in Vegas in April...

FM: (Cutting in) They gonna check Shane good and not Pacquiao. Watch what I tell you. Shane is going to have to go through all kinds of ****, but Pacquiao won't have to. And then Pacquiao will beat Shane up and they will say, "Oh, Mayweather didn't do this and that to Shane, but Pacquiao did." The difference is Lil Floyd ain't got nothing in him.

PC: So you are still su****ious about Pacman?

FM: Is he willing to take random testing? Well, there is your answer right there. Believe me, if he would take the test with no cutoff date and all of that ****, there would be a fight. Lil Floyd would love that fight; trust me when I tell you. Lil Floyd would beat 3 Pacquiao's in one night if the playing field is even. ****, he would beat 3 and I would whoop 1 if the playing field is even. They talking about he don't like to give blood, but ****, Lil Floyd would have to give the same amount of blood. Who the **** likes to give blood? Listen to what I'm telling you man, if they are on an even playing field, Floyd would beats the **** out of Pacquiao.

PC: There were some reports that you were quoted saying you were scared for Lil Floyd to fight Pacquiao.

FM: That's just mother****ers trying to turn son against father. I said I would be scared for Lil Floyd to fight anyone that I felt like had an unfair advantage. That's what the **** I said. They can twist it however the **** they want to twist it, but that's what I said. At the end of the day, that's my ****ing son. That is my ****ing son and nobody else's son but mines. It's my job to look out for his best interest and I said I would be scared for my son to fight anybody who I thought had an unfair advantage. That goes for Pacquiao or anybody else. On an even playing field, I don't think nobody can whoop Lil Floyd. What the **** am I gonna say I'm scared for Lil Floyd to fight Pacquiao for? Come on man. Scared of what? Hey, just like Freddie "The Joke Coach" Roach didn't want Joe Cortez to referee that fight with Pacquiao and Oscar because he's Hispanic, it's the same reason I don't want my son to fight Pacquiao without blood testing. I wanna make sure the playing field is even, just like Roach wanted to make sure his fighter was getting a fair fight. At the end of the day, none of these mother****ers care if Lil Floyd gets brain damage or dies in the ring, and that's from any fight, not just Pacquiao. I'm his daddy and I care and I'm the one advising him not to fight under any other circumstances. I want to see that fight too, but it has to be a fair fight. I think Floyd can whoop him with or without that **** in him, but why let my son take a risk that can be prevented. Take the tests and you got a fight, it's that simple. Floyd would love that fight.

PC: What did you think of Pacquiao dismantling Antonio Margarito?

FM: I mean, here is a guy coming from 106 pounds fighting a guy 6 inches taller than him and breaking his eye socket…come on man. What you think? Something ain't right about that when no other mother****er in the history of the sport done that ****. He could have stopped Margarito. If this was the old days where the fights were 15 rounds, he would have stopped Margarito (laughing). Something ain't right about that.

PC: I'm not gonna keep you on Big Floyd. I just wanted to let you clear the air on the situation of you being quoted as saying you were scared for Lil Floyd to fight Pacquiao.

FM: Whoever twisted my words like that just trying to start ****. I appreciate the call and I'm glad you will put it out there just the way I said it. I said I would be scared for my son to fight anybody with an unfair advantage; that's my son. Hell, I ain't gonna send Lil Floyd in the street to fight somebody that I know has a gun. That's plain ******, so I did say I would be scared for him to fight anyone that I felt had an unfair advantage. Percy, you know if I thought someone could beat Lil Floyd, I would be the first to say I don't like that fight because I feel they are too big or too strong or whatever, but from this lil mother****er, hell naw man. I ain't said that at all. If they fight and both are being tested all the way leading up to the fight, Floyd would beat 3 Pacquiao's on the same night

I feel like I don’t need Mayweather to make my career. I fought the best and anyone willing to face me. I want it, and feel the fans deserve the Mayweather fight. I want to prove to everyone that it wasn’t me who didn’t want the fight. That’s why I made the concession to take anything [blood tests] he wants at any time. Even during the fight before the sixth round if he wanted! What else can I do? I hope we get the fight done soon. Let’s get it on.

Arum declined to discuss purse-split negotiations but he said Pacquiao has agreed to submit to random pre-fight blood tests up to 14 days before a fight with Mayweather

if he was weight drained then he should have not taken the fight, there is no in-between. the only difference is the division and the time period but when you evaluate the actions they are the same thing, Manny came in overweight in a fight with an agreed upon catch weight, Floyd came in overweight in a fight with an agreed upon catch weight, it's the same no matter how you spin it or try to discredit it, that would only go to show that you'd come up with anything just to make it seem different when the truth is there is nothing different, if Manny can pick a time whether recent or old to point out how Floyd came in overweight in a catch weight fight then it can be done back to him, simple as that, if you want to live in denial then go ahead

The ONLY difference was that Floyd was smart enough to either pay a penalty or crumble the fight but he didn't allow himself to be in a fight where he couldn't be 100% of himself and get KO'ed by someone who isn't as good a fighter as he is, the difference is that Floyd was a smarter man, the difference is that Floyd paid a fee for each of those pounds. and don't talk to me about "natural" this or that because if you want to get technical Manny is naturally 130-135 he just packed on weight but if he wanted to he can cut back down without being completely drained he just doesn't want to for Marquez because he knows the lower the weight the harder the fight so he picks a weight where he stands a better advantage

              Thanks Webb

..to even imply that it's okay for Manny to have done the same thing they hung Floyd for all because it was so long ago and at a lighter weight is atrocious, Manny is still the same human being, he is still the same person who was guilty of that back then so why is he given a pass now? Top Rank got these idiots fooled my dude, we like the only ones who can see threw the buckets of shit Top Rank is spewing to the public

What he has done is irrelevant because he has been fighting at 143-148 on fight night since he fought at 130. And moving up in weight doesn't mean a lot if you aren't fighting the best guys in that division.

Roberto Duran could have done the same thing had he moved up and fought nobodies, but instead he fought guys like Tommy Hearns, Marvin Hagler, etc... You probably don't know, but those are fellow ATG's and THE WHO'S WHO of the time, unlike who Manny fights, washed up bums far out of their prime who even at their best are a total mismatch.

See the problem is that Arum has sold you the idea that moving up in weight is the new standard of greatness and you have bought it. The fact is FIGHTING THE WHO'S WHO and beating TOP CONTENDERS while AT THE TOP OF THEIR GAME is what makes a fighter great.

Manny can go ahead and fight a guy with a 30 pound weight advantage for all I care, but if he's slow and can't fight, who really gives a ****?

In all honesty, there are even B rated fighters in the game now who could move up and fight old ex champions in higher divisions and squeeze out decisions, but nobody has ever done that. Manny is the first fighter who Arum has done this with, and with careful matchmaking, he is able to pull off easy decisions.

The weight issue is also a joke because he has been fighting between 143-148 since he fought David Diaz, so what difference does that even make? He hasn't changed physically on fight night at all, so who cares if he fights in another division? Don't forget, in the 130-140 fight divisions, he ALWAYS outweighed his opponents by 5-13 pounds.

If you knew anything you would state a case, as I have, yet you will just say "Who has done what Pac has done" like starting a career at 4'10 when you're 15 years old and gaining weight is impressive. That stage in his career is irrelevant as he was basically an adolescent. If you ask me he started at featherweight and has moved up to welterweight. Big ****ing deal.

Then you go on to say "The only people that matter are the ones who care" as if pleasing the Pinoy's is all that matters. I like boxing, I like Manny Pacquiao, as do most of the people on this board, why can't he fight somebody we want him to fight?

The fact that you are content and happy to see him beat up guys who have no shot just shows that you are nothing but a nuthugging ******* and the furthest thing from a boxing fan, so why even post in this forum?

Don't come onto a boxing forum, go to a Pacquiao fansite, or stick to the pinoy lang.

*sigh* come on man be a realist. From the beginning of this whole ordeal it has been Team Pac who has utilized a zillion excuses as to why they dont want to take the test, meanwhile Mayweather has had the same stance the entire time...RANDOM....RANDOM...RANDOM! Why cant people see this...Team Pac and Pac himself has had a billion excuses...

first it was i hate needles...

then it was i get weak from blood being drawn...

then it was not to close to fight..

then it was I dont want to interupt my training...

then it was ok i'll do test but they cant be random....

                    etc etc etc

its all been a joke when Pac could have easily just taken the test...Mayweather will take the same test under the same circumstances.

I hear everyone talking about Mayweather is a pu$$y this and that but it looks to me that Pac is the real pu$$y because he doesnt want to prove that he's clean. Mayweather NEVER said he didnt want to fight Pacquiao, he just wants it to be on an even playing field.

No, it means that, by the rules that is not the weight penalty . It was something made up by Pac's team. An unecessary demand. Something never heard of in the history of boxing. But u know what? Floyd agreed. Why couldn't Pac do the same?

The rules state that the size is 10oz unless both fighters agree to it. FMJ didn't have to agree, but he did. Pac demanded, Floyd conceeded. That tells you how much he wanted to fight. The same can be said for Pac NOT agreeing to the OST(or agreeing and then changing his mind). Such sticklers for the "commission rules" until Pac makes a demand, then the other guy is at fault for not accepting it.

What are u talking about? I can GUARANTEE U if this fight ever comes off, floyd will not be running. He will be right there in front of Pac, making him miss, countering him and punishing him. Watch! Remember Floyd can fight going forward and backward, Pac cannot.

When the media, Pac's and his minions turn change the facts to fit Pac's story, why should he care? They are gonna say what they are gonna say. There is always a double standard for FMJ & Manny.
