I know what your saying. Marquez did bulk up, so did Corrales Manny not so much because he doesn't look too different, he just did not dehydrate as much. Marquez and corrales looked to be a little soft but also more muscular. If ever both those guys should be more suspect then Manny. Manny looks almost the same as he always did (hydrated) he did not turn into the hulk. I would see your point if he looked significantly more muscular but he doesn't. He weighed in @ 144 for Margarito looked slightly softer then usual.

do you see 15lbs of water weight between the two pics?

because essentially what we have been told Manny no longer has to shed water weight and can basically be his after weigh in weight.

well between these two pics, JMM II and Cotto, Manny weighed 129 for JMM. In that picture he is dry and looking like a guy who had to cut. In the Cotto pic he looks healthy and full faced so for the most part people say that this is an obvious observation based on these two two pics because in one is isn't dehydrated and the other he is

okay fine but where in the world is that 15lbs of water? 129 to 144 is indeed 15lbs.

where is all that water at? I would think if it was indeed that much water weight he would look way more fleshy right?
What's up brotha. From what I understand.. Pacquiao eats about 7000 calories a day or so. Dude eats morning/afternoon prior to the days weigh-in, that says something. Dude was coming into his fights at 120-130 weighing in around 140... and now that he's allowed to eat more.. he has gained muscle mass/looks less ripped/added more fat. IMO of course. I don't know about the whole water issue.

simple question that no one really answers they just use the "well look at the next day look at Manny then"

so are you going to answer my question since you know so much about Manny?

between those two pics there is 15lbs of difference. Most people state that Manny is no longer dehyrdating down. So if that's the case......
That is the case what did you expect, a beer belly, a 12 pack and some 20 inch biceps. The fact that it is not the case shows that 15lbs of water does not mean you are going to look softer or more bloated. It just means you are going to look like what Manny weighs in now, a fuller not ****** in face is obviously a sign that he is not dehydrated. Pac is not coming in at 160-170 he is coming 2-3 lbs heavier. You expecting Manny to show the water or something. as a sign of water weight his face is fuller, maybe his ass is too LoL, a little in the waist, the legs, the back, I don't know what to say man it is cut and dry obvious LOL. I don't know if you are expecting a gut. Most fighters hydrate, like bradley and show me where the water is on his body.. You see it in the face not the body. But obviously fighters like Marquez, Corrales, Pacquiao, Cotto are going to put on muscle as they move up in weight as well they'd be a fool not too.

well you have to take it to the next level. your forum rage will not accomplish anything because i don't think the who's who in boxing does read your post here.

Well you don't know what I have done, tried to do, etc so I'd slow down with that. But to each his own. If you feel you can't accomplish anything or change anything then more power to you.

but here is a point I was making

I don't think people are far off in saying that Manny is now enjoying the benefits of not having to severly dehydrate himself to make weight anymore. I think that is partially true

however, it cannot solely explain how he can essentially look only marginally more hydrated at 144 then at 129 without the concession that somehow someway he gained a significant amount of muscle mass to go along with it

this also goes to a point that I see to. Why is he still gaining weight after weigh ins? I mean if he doesn't have to worry about making weight then shouldn't he essentially stay the same weight give or take a pound? His storied metabolism where he has to eat ~7000 calories a day should in effect keep him around the 144 range right?

his body changed, how it changed is the point of speculation

I am honestly now on the fence whereas before I had a lot of su****ions
