Richard SCHAEFER in the Steroid Lawsuit: "PACQUIAO's Head Has Gotten Bigger".

No dude. I'm not saying you have less water weight. Water weight is a byproduct of sucking yourself down. Water weight comes from having to rehydrate your body. Now that we've established that, we're now looking at a Pacquiao who no longer has to "dehydrate" himself. Is he fighting at the weight he walks around at? If so...what is he doing in the gym that all other lightweights aren't? Juan Manuel Marquez routinely weighs well over 140+ pounds after making weight. Diego Corrales, etc. Did you see him when he decided to fight at his walking around weight? And these guys began at weights higher than Manny. So since we know he isn't in the gym eating donuts and just "maintaining his walking around weight" like so many like to spew on here, what is he doing so different that causes him to maintain a body-building physique and his attributes within six months of fighting at 135? This is why bringing up what he weighed on fight night is highly irrelevant.
generally you're just adding back on the water you cut to make weight.
so not cutting water weight doesn't mean you have less water in your system.
i don't care about what he does or what peds or whatever. not the topic.
145 lbs. fully rehydrated after cutting water weight and putting it back on = 145 fully rehyradated not cutting water weight
that's what i don't get when you say "difference between water weight and lean muscle"
you don't have 15 lbs. of extra water after cutting water weight and putting it back on.
the 15 lbs. of water you put on is what you cut in the 1st place.Comment

USADA said in January that they would not test fighters the day of the fight. So I never understood that argument on here. The blood tests are for EPO and other forms of blood doping. As Conte said, they'd have to go less than 3-4 days in order to ensure a fighter wasn't using.Comment

but imdazed , dehydrating and rehydrating oneself doesn't mean your body has substantially more water.

no but you know why i didn't understand that right?
i couldn't care less about this ped's thing anymore. people that think he's guilty , thinks he is and people that don't , don't.
if he is , we'll find out eventually. it'll come out somehow.
if he isn't , well all this peds talk will go away eventually.
i just didn't understand the water thing.
cutting and adding 15 lbs. of water means he had more water in his body than when he doesn't cut any water?
i don't get it.
and with regards to pac's training...it's well documented that he had to eat 6 times a day to gain weight and to replenish whatever he lost while training. he even have to wake up at midnight to eat. he doesn't have to miss a meal unlike in his 130 days where even water he can't take it before the weigh-inComment

Recent news coverage about MLB players' steroid use, particularly in the cases of Alex Rodriguez, Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens, has shone a spotlight on steroid abuse, human growth hormone use, and the consequent negative health effects from using both. While steroid use has been widely reported on for potentially causing side effects such as infertility, liver damage, high blood pressure, increased cholesterol levels, and possible aggression ('roid rage), many users still don't know that anabolic steroid use can increase their risk of premature balding and hair loss as well.
Plus add all the instances of erratic, violent behavior aka 'roid rage', and the Mayweathers' self-professed PED expertise... then you know why Floyd keeps taking so many 'vacations' in between fights.

i did.
i think you're confused.
"water weight" is NOT a by product of "sucking yourself down"
water weight is how much water you dehydrated from your body to make weight.
if you're 145 lbs. and you dehydrate yourself to make 130.
15 lbs. is the water weight you cut.
you take water out , you put it back in.Comment
