first off i believe wladimir hits 5x as hard (when he goes full force) as tyson and has 100x the technique. mike tyson is the most overrated HW of all time.

however my answer is still no, because what made tyson like that was his aggression and unpredictable hyperactive dempsey/frazier style, if a fighter didnt have it figured out before the fight even started then they could be humiliated in 1-2 rounds, i think that was always the aura surrounding tyson, where as even if wlad humiliates you it will feel more like you just couldnt figure out the puzzle not like you got walked through

And you just proved my point about you ppl that don't know the difference between physical and performance prime. He lost to Buster freakin Douglas, but whooped Tucker. And it's fact he didn't really train for the fight, got knocked down in sparring.

He couldn't take the intense training regimen it took to stay Kid Dynamite. Forceful, constant bobbing and weaving, combinations in association. Anybody who's taken up boxing knows that is the most physically demanding style with all the preslugging movement. If he was doing that **** against Buster no way he loses when he was still able to drop the guy with a single punch looking like crap, with a wack team.

        lmfao.
Next you will say he is scarier than Sonny Liston.

Tyson was only 2Ib above his weight for the Spinks fight, hardly under-training. It was his mental state not anything to do with his physical one.

I think Tyson was way more intimidating since Wlad is very polite. Some people feel they have a puncher's chance against him but he has beat everyone in the past years. He's a great fighter but he do not possesses the type of aure that Mike had. Tyson was the scariest Mofo boxing ever had.

Exactly, that was the whole point of the argument. Tyson was/is a mental midget. Both Klitschkos are much tougher mentally than him. Therefore they ultimately are more intimidating to their opponents (not to joe schmoe on the street, very important disctinction).

The evidence? All of the fighters that are foregoing multi-million dollar paydays against the Klitschkos. I can't think of one that has done so against Tyson.

He might be more intimidating to the average guy on the street but to a pro boxer who has any other options, Wlad is way more intimidating. Otherwise how do you explain Povetkin turning down a $2.5 million payday because he is "not ready"....

I understand what you are saying, the Klitchko's when fighting are mentally sound and focussed whereas Tyson wasn't but, his opponents didn't know that during his reign of terror. I mean watch Tyson vs Spinks, Spinks an unbeaten cool LHW champ and one of the greatest, absolutely freezes against him. If you knew the truth behind Tyson then yes your point is valid (ie: Buster Douglas) but, if you are unaware of his ACTUAL mental state he was quite a degree scarier imo.

P.S - Where does Wlad rank on your ATG P4P and HW lists?

Light-heavy weight that was 36 years old, I wouldn't exactly hang my hat on that argument if I were to say how intimidating Tyson is to other HWs... Buster wasn't scared.

Are you kidding me? Does he rank? He is top 10, right now, and he is not even done fighting.
