Does wlad now possess a tyson type aura?

I know you'll all laugh at me. But i think wlad has developed a tyson type aura that makes him beat his opponents before they have even stepped in the ring. its an obvious gamplan that will beat him and he cant take a punch so why cant no one beat him?

I think he has them beat before they even get in the ring, they see how big he is and how well he fights his type of fight and have no answer for it.

I've yet to see a fighter get in the ring and go hell for leather against wlad, they come in calm and get pikced and jabbed apart for 10 rounds then get ko'd.

    No not at all.

To even compare the two is like you said, laughable.

No, very good thread, only the haters will deny it, but Wlad is more scarry than Tyson, no one ever turned down a multi-million dollar fight against Tyson but they are doing it against the Klitschkos right and left.

First of all, Wlad CAN take a punch. It took quite a hellacious beating to actually stop him, it was no Amir Khan/ Paul Williams/Daniel Jacobs affair. But what is even more important is that Wlad does not need to take a punch, no one of his last 10 or so opponents were able to lay a decent glove on him or punch him with more then one punch and that mostly comes to how good is he technically at being where you cant touch him.

I do not hate either Klitschko. I am not a fan, but I respect them as gentleman, as I think they are truly very classy people and deserve all the respect in the world as very classy human beings. However, to say anybody who doesn't agree that he possesses the same ability to intimidate as Mike Tyson, who is more intimidating as Sonny Liston, is a ludicrous statement.

Vlad isn't easy to beat, but I don't think anybody is "scared" of them, more so they are just "out matched" when they get in the ring.

I agree with this, he is able to shut his opponents down technically, but I believe that when they get in they are confident that they have what it takes to win, when they simply do not.

Maybe not all the way up until he enters the ring and hits them with that first jab. On tape though, Wlad has shown tons of vulnerability. So if anything, his opponents might see him as weak until they get int he ring. Tyson was opposite.

Wlad and Vitaly, both, are more intimidating than Tyson, NO ONE who can earn a couple of dollars any other way is willing to fight them even though taking out Wlad would get them 4 belts and taking Vitaly out would get them 1 belt, and millions of dollars.

                - Povetkin, turned down a $2.5 million mandatory shot, with no options or rematch clauses, he has never seen that kind of money before in his life

-Diva Gaye, turned down multiple shots against the Klitschkos, including a 50/50, no options one. Hell, even when he signed the contract, he backed out with two weeks to go with a fake back injury after he realized he can't beat Wlad.

-Adamek, said he will fight anyone but has alreay turned down a fight with Vitaly and Wlad and instead opted to fight Grant and Madalonne.

-Tua, despite being bankrupt, still turned down a $400K shot against Wlad

-Mormeck, turned down an undisclosed amout of money from Wlad

-Valuev, turned down $2.5-$3 million from Vitaly when he had the belt, and then $1.5 million when he had no belt, both times that would have been the highest payday of his life

-Lewis, retired after escaping Vitaly with a doctor stoppage, promising a rematch, and turning down a fight that could have been worth as much as $20 million just for his share (oh and he had his Mums meet Vitaly before he decided to retire and not give Vitaly the promised rematch). He still talks **** behind the mic about both Klitschkos and gives their opponents "tips" on how to beat them.

-Toney, turned down a shot against Wlad for about $750K because he said it was "chump change" a couple of years ago, only to turn around and fight Rahman for $400K.

I could go on...but you all get the point.

Answer my question then, did as many top boxers turn down multi-million dollar paydays against Tyson like they are doing against Wlad? If so, what were their names?

Lennox Lewis turned down a career highest purse in 95 and accepted a miniscule amount of step aside money to avoid fighting Mike Tyson. Lennox had never seen a payday close to what he would have gotten.

Your case simply holds no water. Tyson is the most intimidating boxer in the history of boxing. Some may argue Sonny Liston and I am fine with that.

But to say either Klitschko is more intimidating than Mike Tyson is ignorant and ******.
