It was really, really blatant - the whole fight. I still can't get over it. But after they announced their partnership days later (literally!), I thought it was quite obvious.

That's ****m Richardson. You can hear Hopkins ask his corner if "this is the round" prior to the start of the ninth, though.

yep, I mean to me that fight was fixed and it wasn't even close. When they announced Hopkins was a new partner of GBP it just confirmed everything to me. Hopkins threw like 50 right hands right on DLH left hand when he clearly could have landed on him...

In a way, I'm kind of glad I witnessed it. You hear about superfights of yesteryear being fixed and it all seems ridiculous. But we saw it firsthand right in front of our eyes. The deal with GBP/Hopkins had to have been done before they fought. Those kind of deals don't occur overnight. That fight was Hopkins' signing bonus.

The whole fight was a farce

It was a glorified sparring session ending with a phantom body shot

I know.when you are caught with a good body shot you can hardly talk or catch your breathe, let alone howl in 'pain'

I try to look at the replay and make it seem like it's a legitimate body shot, but when you watch the slow-mo replay, it doesn't seem that clean of a punch. It lands, but it doesn't as if Hopkins threw it with enough force to induce that kind of reaction. It looks fake.
