    slight correction: IN his weightclass.

That gentleman said he would fight Pac for the belt that Pac holds. I guess that was unacceptable.

Again Manny will be fighting a most 2 times a year.....pretty much around the time he can get big enough breaks from his congressional duties. As a fan I would rather him not be involved in Politics until he retires....but that is me be selfish.

I recognize that he has a duty to serve his people and I'm just being realistic. YOu act like Manny works at home depot on the side and can just take off whenever the fvkk he wants to. Sorry but that's just being naive and shows you must have a limited understanding on how congressional duties/obligations work.

If he wants the big fights, money fights, and wants Pacquiao. Then I have no problem with him trying to go get it even if it is on his own. My problem is with Pac fighting him not him fighting Pac.
I see no problem with Pac fighting Mosley..I'd rather see that then a Berto fight or a JMM fight..The only other fights I want for Pac would be Timmy B Martinez or Floyd..

That's fine. Do any of us know what the dates are of those "congressional responsibilities"? Or, again, just parroting an Arum line?

I would bet you that there is no substantive difference between what pac has to do in April vs in May or June.

I find it funny people actually think Pacquiao dresses up and go to work like your normal politician.
Hes a trophy basically. Like when big corporates hire an ex star athlete.

I'm just taking Manny's word on this matter. Manny brought this up when he first got elected, so I'm just going off of that.

No one knows except Manny and the other congressmen in the Philippines....so all we can go off of is what we hear in interviews and read in articles.

You are leaving out important information:

after Marg, in the Spring of 2009, Schaefer was pushing for Mosley to face the winner of Pac-hatton. Remember?

I don't believe that GBP "pushed" for Floyd-Marquez. That fell into their lap when JMM called out Floyd (Baby Bull post-fight) and Floyd said OK.
