" I just think Pac is also a great fighter and has beating bigger fighters "

Romey, at catch-weight, there is no " bigger fighter "

" JMM moved up and look like crap at the weight "

he is a career-featherweight who fought at 126 until past-his-prime.

He is still knocking out champions above his best weight, has absolutely no questions marks over his career, and is prepared to go to 147 to fight Manny.

I think you keep forgetting that this guy is a featherweight, and that P4P is based on caeteris paribus.

I agree with Antonio's post, and I am not interested in Pac/JMM III at 147.

140, then fine. Otherwise, clearly Marquez has no interest in WW, and even 140 is obviously too much for him.

        Here is the thing.....

Marquez did not "start out" anywhere.....
he is a career-featherweight, who fought at 126 until past-his-prime.

Many fighters spend most/all of their prime in one division.

When Marquez is evaluated for HOF, any perceived "negatives" will not extend higher than 126, because he fought there until past-his-prime.

Once you are past-prime, you can add to your legacy, but not detract from it.

Marquez is a featherweight, who moved up in his later years, and according to Ariza/Roach, Manny is a natural JWW.

When you factor in caeteris paribus, the history between the two, and the fact that Manny will not fight Marquez unless he has a clear/unfair advantage, then the midget gets the nod hands down imho.

That is just my opinion, and I am happy to go back-and-forth with you on that

I gotta go do some stuff, maybe I can jump back on tonight, take care romey.

Just a big payday nothing more...

Let's get real here. Who has Marquez beaten since getting trashed by Floyd ?!

He beat a recycled and shot Juan Diaz whom he has already knocked out, and who was already beaten by Paulie Malinaggi twice and by Nate Campbell !

And then he fought Katsidis, who was already beaten by Juan Diaz and Joel Casamayor !!!

These are both come-forward, face-first, predictable, Lightweight fighters who are tailor-made for his style!

And Marquez couldn't even fill up 5,000 seats in the arena!

Hasn't even tested the waters at Junior Welter!

You make a point,at least Mosley fought a style that everyone knew going in was a bad one..JMM fought young inexperienced guys, not taking anything away they were great wins but they were Tailor-made as ya said..
