I take that post to mean you don't have a credible source where Roy said that.

Hatton should sign with arum, then a mayweather fight would be real easy to arrange.

Martin gave that Jones quote on Calzaghe a while back, I think it was on the Sky Sports website was it not Martin mate? Apparently Jones said that after the Glen Kelly fight.

Its true that alphabet crap counts for nothing, dont try and tell me that Lou Del Valle was a better Lightheavyweight than Dariusz. Warren did a good job getting the fights for Benn(WBC,McLennan),Bruno(WBC,Tyson),Hamed(multiple world titles,Robinson,Johnson,Kelley at MSG),Hatton(Tszyu) etc,he seems to get the timing right. But I do think Ricky would be better off with Top Rank promotions to get the Mayweather and Cotto fights.

Calzaghe is a strange one,I dont know if he would of got to Roy Jones.hes yet to beat a reigning world champion (Eubank,Brewer,Reid,Woodhall,Mitchell were former world champions past their best and all v.tough fights for big Joe he struggled, and none of them with the exception of Eubank do I consider real quality, and Eubank was nowhere nr his best when he fought big Joe). I dont really know how to rate big Joe,apart from the five former world champions hes beaten and apart from Starie and Sheika I guess, his opposition has been nothing short of diabolical. Hes made 10 defences that I dont really think you can call world championship defences, there are probably only six that are legit. It was interesting to hear Chris Eubank insist that Gary Stretch was better than Calzaghe. And atleast Eubank fought Benn twice,Watson twice,Collins twice,Rocky in Berlin, worldclass Tony Thornton, and ofcourse Lindell Holmes who was obviously better than Brewer. Its very hard for me to rate big Joe,yes he won three ABA titles from welter to lightmiddle to middle three yrs in a row,but Gary Stretch won three ABA welter titles in a row and probably looked abit better than the early career of big Joe when Stretch was at his best (fighting a decidely higher class of opposition too when coming through the ranks,it was a huge step up for big Joe against Eubank but he can be v.thankful that Eubank had to lose one and half stone in a wk and obviously wasnt at all prepared). I cannot believe that Calzaghe is now 32,its unbelievable, its like hes been around forever but hasnt got any recognition yet and hasnt had any big fights since Eubank. Its just really strange with big Joe C.

Atleast Calzaghe doesn't make his name by fighting blown-up Welterweight's, and I think Brewer and Mitchell are better than the likes of Robert Allen and Carl Daniels!
