I remember when Roy Jones said that he was willing to travel to Cardiff to fight Calzaghe for Calzaghe's super-middleweight title, it was all talk. Just like Hopkins was all talk when saying he wanted the super-fight with Calzaghe, deep down he knew he had no intention of actually going through with it.

Yeah, that's definitely a lot of excuse-making on Warren's part. First he blames other people for denying his fighters the big fights, then he says that he can make them anytime he wants, then he blames the other guys again! And his "it's the fighter, not the belt" excuse is bs pure and simple. Still, I guess he had to politico his way out of that one after your friend there so successfully slammed him .

Excuse and reasons are two different thing mate, its hard to tell if they are valid or not. Maybe all these people with Letter/Faxes to prove things should show them to prove things.

Bla bla bla. He didn't fight WBO kings Eubank, Michalczewski or Calzaghe for a reason, he had no intention of fighting them because he knew they'd be just a little bit tougher than Antoine Byrd or David Telesco

I don't wanna see Ricky Hatton fight Maussa... It's a missmatch if you ask me.

I honestly can't see Maussa lasting more than 3 or 4 minutes against Hatton... Hatton may get a belt out of it but who cares...

I wanna see Hatton fight Mayweather most of all, because I think he'll win it... If not, I'd like to see Hatton in the ring with Judah, Witter, Cotto, Corales, Castillo - or anyone else that would present a challenge and make for an interesting fight.

Agreed, but it sounded like excuse-making to me. It seems to me that if every story he tells is true than the whole boxing world in united in screwing Frank Warren. You know, it sounded like he had some story about how someone jerked him around for every criticism against him. But like you said there's no way to tell the real story.
