How the hell is Arum gonna say Martinez is too dangerous or too big for Pacquiao and then at the same time feed Cotto to him when Pac would stand a better chance against him because he's better than Cotto is obviously. I guess the thing about Cotto is he's taken punishment and has been through the meet grinder because he lacks the ability to be elite like Pac does. But regardless of my rep as a Cotto hater, (And I don't like the catch weight either, even if it's not all Cotto's fault) he is putting Pacquiao to shame and Arum is such a contradictor by making a Cotto-Martinez fight instead of a Pac-Martinez fight.

Arum will never make cotto/martinez. NEVER! not when lucrative fights against margarito and chavez jr are still on the table. maybe after those fights but not before.

I think it's possible he may not too. It's rumors as far as I'm concerned. But the fact that Cotto is still entertaining the possibility makes Pacquiao look bad even if the fight for some reason doesn't get made.
