While we're at it, let's have Sechenko vs Pacquiao, Mayweather vs Zaveck, Berto vs Aydin, and Cotto vs Dzinzuruk???

Come on, the guy is 4 years away from 40, let him have his big name fights, he earned it.
And what Andy Lee is a big name? If he wants a keep busy fight then he should just beat the crap out of Zbik and then he can do what he likes for the rest of the year.

Just because he is 35, he shouldnt defend against Mandatories?

he shouldnt be given mandatories after he defended his belt against the #1 contender in the division and had his belt less than a year. Even you know thats bs.

The problem is there are no big fights left at 160 right now because he already beat the two guys who were supposed to be the best at that weight. Martinez is looking for money and exposure and at mw those type of fights are not available. Hopefully Pirog can get some decent wins on HBO and make himelf a name because that will be a good fight.

You understand the sanctioning bodies have their own ratings right? They don't go by third party ratings right?

And, I am still waiting for to answer my question on what title that Pac was able to keep without being stripped by not fighting a mandatory?

At the end of the day

the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO are all crap. Are all crooked and corrupted. Those belts mean nothing.

The only championships that matter is lineal and The Ring.

In a perfect world he and every elite fighter like Pac, Klitschkos, Pascal, Ward, Froch, Cotto, JMM, Montiel so on and so on would just say F'it and drop these garbage ass belts...

Williams was not the #1 contender for WBC
