If you earn your spot then you should get a shot...Fuck that whole "who are you" ****...That is what is wrong with boxing now with everybody having that diva-like attitude... I get it when SRR, SRL, Oscar, Floyd, and Pac have it... Because, they actually brought/bring in crazy numbers. But, if you can't do their numbers then you should not have that kind of attitude...

Forrest(RIP) had that attitude against Martinez and it ****** and that is why it took Martinez to get here. Oscar De la Hoya said the same thing about Martinez. But, that was Oscar you could see where he was coming from. But, Forrest? And, now Martinez. I get it if you want the big money. But, when you realize that is not coming don't act like a diva and start saying "who are you"
But seriously, who are they? I mean Martinez isn't really that known himself, but these guys are like underground rappers.

Well if it's a dumb statement I think you're making statements that don't even make sense from a business standpoint and are beyond ******ed, and I 'd hate for you to be Sergio Martinez's promoter. We'll just agree to disagree.

thing is, people demanded the martinez forrest fight. Noone wants to see martinez fight his mandatory...for now. Martinez has many oppertunities right now, and hes trying to capitalize, nothing wrong with that.

weather we like it or not. Boxing needs a dana white
Boxing doesn't need a Dana White per say...It doesn't need one promoter...But, one commissioner IMO...

Boxing also needs less belts... I would for the U.S to just have one commission and do what the JBC(Japan boxing commission) does and that is only recognize the WBC and WBA as official belts. Japan boxing do not recognize the WBO nor the IBF...

I think one commission and 2 belts will be a lot better...I think it will be hard to have one commission in the whole sport worldwide. I just don't see how is that possible...One commission for the Nation I don't think it is realistic for it to happen but it should.

And, also lets get rid of the minimum weight division have 108 being the lowest weight-class.

And is he going to fight Andy Lee?

If the fight happens, it will be in NY where the Irish community is big here. The fight would actually sell tickets. Not much for views. Zbik and Pirog on the other hand, they wouldn't draw flies to a dumpster here in NY or Las Vegas as main event fights.

Nothing wrong with that and I get that...But, the problem is that he does not have those opportunities...

Lets be real Pac and Floyd are not running to go fight him...They just not, he needs to realize that. Cotto might but then again I don't think so...I think Arum would make Margarito-Cotto 2 first before anything.

So that is why he settled to figth Andy Lee, now again he is in negotiations to fight Andy Lee... To people really wanna see Martinez-Lee instead of Martinez-Pirog?Ehh...You telling me he knows who Lee is but doesn't know who Dzinziruk is? I mean it sounds he is having a diva like attitude..

There are some hardcore boxing fans that are realistic and understand what are good fights, but also put themselves in the fighters and promoters shoes, consider fighters ages, what that fighter has done, and think from a business aspect of things, to understand what's going on.

Other hardcore boxing fans, give absolutely no thought to anything at all, they are programmed to say things that will give them that image of a "hardcore boxing fan" or hardcore idiot who doesn't understand what business is in boxing. Sadly, this happens a lot with all types of fanbases and it's the norm on NSB. But really, a lot of you can not promote a fighter. It would be disastrous.

                I will say this,

that if you're OK with fighters fighting lesser opponents instead of real threads...Then you really not a hardcore boxing fan. Stick to watching baseball or the Jersey Shore or something that suits you better.

Why should Paul have been the number one at middleweight? The only two fights he ever had in the division before his lose to Sergio were with two career Jr. middleweights Winky and the first fight with Sergio. I will say that Winky did have a few fights in the division but it had been almost three years since he had fought a world class middleweight and his fight with Paul was also only his second in almost three years and that fight was also a lose. And as far as Sergio is concerned. Before his first fight with Paul he only fought twice in the middleweight division. His opponents were named David Toribio 14-10 and Presente Brito 11-14-3. Wow, now that is some world class middleweights you have there. So in my opinion neither Williams or Martinez should have been ranked very high at 160 much less getting to fight for the title in a division were they did little to deserve a shot. And you can argue they both had beat world class fighters and I will agree but it was not at middleweight. And if that is the way it works I will ask why even have weight divisions?

One of the names being kicked around is Andy Lee.
