and Jones isnt #1 contender for Jones - its Selcuk Aydin, who is not that good, but definitely better than Freddy Hernandez

He said the same thing about Dzinziruk. Sergiey wanted to unify the titles and he acted like he didn't know who Dzinziruk was and gave up his 154 pound WBC title.

I understand that Pirog and Dzinziruk don't have name recognition. But, they're top fighters at their weight. And, now people are getting carried away with the whole Martinez fights anybody anywhere...But, whatever...

What I think HBO should do, is have a double header Martinez-Zbik...I think Martinez can bring the hardcore boxing fan viewers ratings on HBO. And, then have Lee vs Pirog on the undercard. Have it in New York where Lee can sell tickets.

I think that would work well for both cuz Martinez if he gets past Zbik(which I think he will) can fight the winner of Lee-Pirog in a unification fight for the summer.

r u serious -Martinex just fuoght Cintron, Williams, Pavlik and Williams in his past 4 fights - obviously hes not scared of fighters, as those were all top fighters in the 154-160 division at the time. Pirog isn't worthy of that big of a fight - what did you do, beat an up and coming unproven prospect in , Jacobs, and thts it! Cotto and Dzindriuk deserve fights way more
