Martinez is 35, will be 36 on Feb. I don't even like him and I think a lot of people here overrate him. But come on Zbik? Dzinzuruk? Pirog? are you guys listening to yourselves? Like seriously, say your post out loud and listen to yourselves.

While we're at it, let's have Sechenko vs Pacquiao, Mayweather vs Zaveck, Berto vs Aydin, and Cotto vs Dzinzuruk???

Come on, the guy is 4 years away from 40, let him have his big name fights, he earned it.

Martinez appears to only want to fight welterweights at a catchweight. Hes afraid to fight someone in his own weight class

Everyone always makes a big deal about catchweight bouts, when they've been happening for decades - Ray Leonard only became a 5 divisions champ because he beat Lalonde for super middleweight and light heavyweight titles at once with the buot fought at 167 lb. catchweight. So please, everyone give up the Pacman king of the catch weights, just because he fought Cotto 2 lbs under the limit and Margarito at 150 - people would have criticezed Pac less if that fight was at 147, but at 150 it helped Margarito not suck out to 147 - so, again, please give it up

Berto v Aydin is a fight I wanted to see for 2 years.

              Berto is ducking Turkish fighters.

              true story

wen did Martinezever fight at a catchweight because it was something he wanted to do? Williams wanted that as a catchweight fight, and before that he fought Pavlik at 160 - u hav no clue!

What is wrong with that fight?

You putting sechenko, Zaveck, and Aydin in the same level as Dzinziruk. Aydin is not even in the level of Jo Jo Dan

You putting Cotto in the same level as Floyd and Pac.

There is nothing wrong with Cotto-Dzinziruk is a fight that should happen to determine supremacy at 154. Just cuz you not familiar with Dzinziurk doesn't make dude bum or a bad fighter.

Yes he earned it, but he was saying Dzinziruk who for awhile now. Is not like something new... But, the same thing he is saying, pretty much Floyd and Pac are saying...Why fight Martinez what does he bring? His not on there level of popularity so why should they fight him? Since is OK for Martinez not to fight Pirog or Dzinziruk?

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't Sergio still keep the ring and lineal championship. I think he would only be stripped of the WBC paper belt.
