they do. you just don't like it because they're not fighting some top 10 opponent.
like i said , the days of them stacking card like in the 80's and 90's is over.
just deal with it because it ain't gonna change.
There has to be a reason for the undercard to be there.

I would rather watch 2 quality fights than 1 quality fight and 3 meaningless turds.
Why stick to the same broke ass formula if there is no point to it~

If you just threw out some bull**** yes I would have called you on it, but if you can reasonable back it up on why you liked it I would have accepted it and said name another on the principle that even a blind squirrel can find a nut
if the main event is good then i'm satisfied.
all the undercard is for me now is checking out to see new guys or seeing were guys are at skillwise.
like i said , you just need to accept how things are done now. it's not gonna change.
your not gonna see top fighters fighting top competition on undercards anymore. undercards is for non-big names and prospects. just how it is.

GBP needs HBO blind dates to have success, Top Rank doesn't.Last edited by jrosales13; 12-02-2010, 02:20 PM.

GBP still has ways to go...

same reason as why they have untelevised fights the same night.
so that way they hold one event and get a lot of their prospects fights to pad the resume with.

that's not how it works now though. you're complaining about something and it's been like that for years already.
why don't you rant on how boxing is not on network tv anymore too while you're at it.

Like I said GBP puts on the better shows, that is why I think they are better.
It is not about big names, I want to see quality fighters and fights, it is not that hard to dig up quality guys who are up and comming and pay them peanuts to face off (guys who can use any kind of exposure).
I know the cardinal rule of boxing look impressive no matter who you are matched up against because in the end it doesn't really matter who you see as long as you look impressive. Real fans of the sport should see through that rule though and know what is what.
I don't watch movies just for the climax or ending I watch for the whole thing.
I don't take kindly to having my time wasted which is what Top Rank does most of the time, if you are ok with that, that is on you.

at least top ranks holds a lot of small ppv shows that barely make any money to get their fighters fights unlike gbp who used hbo for their bs fights because they don't do their own ppvs.
