De la Hoya is nothing but a ***** now, period.

Pac has only had 2 catchweight fights, in all 57 of his career fights.

145lbs with Cotto and 150lbs with Margarito, where both fighters agreed and were not drained.

De la hoya = joke of a promoter

DE LA HOYA = Worst Professional Boxing Promoter in the history of Boxing. This guy has proven over and over that he doesn't know what the hell he's saying.. So many times he apologized or took back what he said... He's a joke.

Shane is by no means done. Losing to the best P4P and a draw with an awkward, young middle-wt is nothing like fighting a smaller guy that hates movement, use to fighting slow fighters and is very easy to hit. I honestly believe Manny is tailor made for Shane. If Margarito hurt Pac with a body shot what do you guys think Shane's shot are gonna do even at this stage. Don't be shocked if Manny get's KO'd.
That's what they said before the dela hoya fight... and the hatton fight... and yeah they also said that Manny would get Knocked Out by Margarito... After Pacquiao demolished all these fighters, the same people suddenly said that they were already washed up, old drained geezers in the first place... Hypocrites...

I'll entertain this...De La Hoya played himself, he shouldn't have avoided Margarito and picked on a lightweight, and shouldn't have expected the lightweight to fight him at 154.

B/c ODH isn't a welterweight, they had to test the waters (catchweight) against a legit welterweight, (and I don't think they should have, but that's what they did) against Cotto, that was @145. The way I see it, now that Pac's a welter, he's not gonna fight below 147. On top of that, he never comes in at the full 147, and he doesn't rehydrate that much, so what's Marquez worried about, 2 pounds? That should be better than the "20 pounds" he gave up to Floyd, right? I want this fight too, but I don't wanna hear Marquez ***** anymore, he doesn't have an argument when he weighs in at 145 on fight night against Katsidis. either marquez is willing to give up 2-3 pounds to Pacquiao on fight night or not...

And that's it, Margarito...that wasn't a welterweight fight - Margarito couldn't make 147 and Pacquiao couldn't make 154, so I didn't mind the catchweight there (the belt was another issue).

ODH has a lot of ****in nerve, picking on a lightweight and then when Mayweather did the same **** to Marquez, he didn't say Sh8t to his cash cow....you tell me what changed? it's like I said either marquez is willing to give up 2-3 pounds to Pacquiao on fight night or not...no more bulls*t.

didnt the catchweight for martinez/williams II favored williams? and what happened in that fight? i believe the catchweight was 3 lbs under the limit and had no negative effect on martinez...

also note that margarito, a lifetime welterweight, had only one fight as jr middleweight before fighting pac at a catchweight that is still within the jr middleweight fight...but yet people still cry "catchweight king"

but also remember, pac, from lightweight, fought delahoya at welterweight (2 weight division higher) for one fight... then moved one division down to fight hatton...the move down for pac to fight hatton is in essence a catchweight for him (pac) while hatton fought at his best and natural weight division...the only thing that i heard from alot of *****s at that time were "hatton is too big for pac"

pac has moved up and down in weight and made the necessary adjustments...let marquez do the same and let him adjust...cuz great fighters can do that when moving up in weight...if marquez is great, then he can do it...if not, then marquez is a "wanna be great"

They must've said that in your house because nobody thought Margarito would beat Manny and as for Hatton and Oscar, we knew after seeing Oscar struggle with Forbes that he was done and remember Hatton was another come right at you fighter that had been beaten by Collazo and KO'd by PBF so what do we really have here? And if Manny's so bad why not fight Martinez. Tony wasn't too big but Martinez is? BS!!!!! and you and all the other *******s know it. Let the real Mosley show up!!!!!!!!!
