sergio is a good boxer, got good skills, but he would never have beaten BHOP.

I never said Martinez would win, I would favor Hopkins. But what Hopkins has always tended to do is let the busier guy win rounds. I don't see how this wouldn't be highly contested.

Martinez has the ability to outhustle his opponent and control the pace, and I think those things are huge against Hopkins.

Again, not disrespecting Hopkins here, but rather saying that it wouldn't be a cake walk as most suggest.

A lot of people say Sugar Ray Robinson is the greatest ever. So do I. Does that mean he never lost or was in close or good fights? No. Why is Hopkins so above the competition? Especially considering he ruled over a weak MW division.

Again the thread says prime Hopkins, when have you ever seen him outhussled? Also Sergio gasses Hopkins had 15 round stamina.

Ok, you're right, God a.k.a. Bernard Hopkins would demolish and shut out the dreadful one dimensional mover that is Sergio Martinez.

                Glad we settled that.

Martinez is on the hype train right now(well deserved) but we haven't seen em in there with someone awkward, dirty, crafty, and defensive yet...

I think he would shine in the center of the ring at times but I think Bernard will impose his size on Sergio and I think Bernard could break Sergio's will...Sergio was fallin over himself at the end of the first Williams bout...

Sergio's slick but P.Will put a lotta leather on em in there first fight as well...

Interesting fight but I still got Bernard...

Sergio better not get tired...(although that fight was at an incredible pace at times)
