Man, I would like to stress that I like Pacquiao, but the sentence above is just false. I don't need to articulate why it's false. Anybody on here that is a true boxing fan can attest to that. According to Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, there is no way, under any circumstances, that he will consider a making a fight between Manny Pacquiao and WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, at a catch-weight of 155-pounds or otherwise. Arum has a short-list of opponents for Pacquiao's next fight, which includes WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto, three division champion Shane Mosley, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez.

They used to weigh-in the mornings of the fights. It was generally about 12 hours between weigh-in and fight. So no, guys didn't balloon 15-20 lbs between weigh-in and fights, but they did have time to rehydrate.

Do you remember what Freddy Shakes said in that video interview when talking about what he saw from Dela Hoya when the ref gave the instructions in the ring?

He said that he noticed the fresh I.V. marks on Dela Hoya from where they tried to hydrate him. I'm telling you, Freddy and Ariza have this weight thing down to a science.

If the weight issue by one or two pounds wasn't a big deal then why even implement the catchweights? But Tards don't care about that, they just love the fact that Pac is so dreamy when in all actuality he's not what he seems to be.

De la Hoya was in a tough spot when he fought Pac. If you remember, he was supposed to rematch Mayweather when he fought Pac. But, Mayweather retired and left de la Hoya searching for an opponent. He took a lot of grief for fighting Pac. And he made the msitake of worrying about being too big on the HBO unofficial scale. So he came to the arena light, and attempted to rehydrate quickly before the fight. I personally think he would have lost regardless. But, he basically eliminated the puncher's chance he had by makign this decision. IMO, he shouldnt' have cared about what the public thought and done what was best for his body. And if he came in outweighing Pac by 20-30 lbs, so be it.

Does the way Team Pacquaio have conducted themselves recently change your opinion on why Mayweather-Pacquaio has yet to come together?

Honestly, there's bull**** coming from both sides. But yes, it has made me wonder what the real reasons are behind the fight not happening. Though I can appresiate what Floyd brings to the game, I'm not a Floyd fan. I do like watching Pac much more. But common knowledge in the game is that Pacs earnestness makes him a tool for the powers that be. Freddy Roach and Team Pac are not the good guys they portray themselves to be.

A couple of key things from Pacs side that make me wonder what's going on are the emails sent from Pacs camp. The ones asking what would be the penalty for failing a drug test and if Pac failed the test could it be kept confidential for the sake of the sport.

Only time will tell what really happened in negotiations.

We will never see a Pac-Floyd fight. Believe that. Mosley is next. It's already been decided.
