Don't you dare even compare Roy's HW accomplishment to Pac's recent "JMW" one. Are you serious? Roy didn't ask for a catchweight for that bout and fought an actual champ and ranked contender in Ruiz unlike Manny beating Margarito who wasn't even a champ or legit contender at 154 to win the WBC JMW belt.

Thankfully, I have a mind of my own and can draw my own conclusions. It's futile arguing with people who can't.

I'm sure that's just fine with you though as Pacquiao and his team can do no wrong. A lot of people called Mosley an old shot fighter for Mayweather. But now he's a viable opponent for Pacquaio after a one sided loss and a draw? Did Mosley suddenly get younger? If you can't see why there is criticism for that then you are riding Pacquiao too hard. And Pacquaio hasn't been a lightweight for years. It's time to stop calling him one or even making reference to it. He couldn't make 135 if his life depended on it. Especially when Roach refuses to fight at a catchweight for Marquez under 147. I guess Catchweights only work when it's convenient or comfortable Pacquaio. Martinez said he would fight at 154. How is that unreasonable when Pacquiao fought for the 154 title? Some Pacquiao fans want to have it both ways by praising him for winning an 8th belt against an unqualified contender. But in the next sentence claim he's too small to fight at 154 when Martinez name comes up. Can't have it both ways and still look credible or objective on this topic.
I'm not praising anything. His appearance at 154 was fairly ridiculous. He wasn't even near 154. The title means little to me. It's not Pacquiao's fault Berto hasn't done any work to raise his profile, JMM has seemingly maxed out around 135 and Mayweather is Mayweather. At the end of the day Pac maxes around the 140's. There are no ideal opponents for his situation considering the difficulties with mayweather. Mayweather really is the only suitable opponent for him at this particular moment. A Berto/Mosley showdown could potentially produce an opponnet. However JMM would still probably give Pacquiao more trouble.

John Ruiz was not an "actual champ" - he was a mere beltholder. Just like David Diaz and Miguel Cotto. We live in the alphabet era, if you can't discern the real champs from strap wearers then that's your problem.

If Roy had fought Juan Carlos Gomez (at 198lbs) for a vacant title...now that would be a better comparison.

"Run him into the ground"? Lol, very odd way to end your reply considering that you think "Pac takes care of Martinez" so easily. If he's so easy, why doesn't your idol fight him on fair terms. If Margarito wasn't too big, then Martinez definitely isn't as well. I thought Pac was a warrior and fought everyone? You pretty much have *******s and all of the Philippines drinking that Kool-Aid.
I never said he takes care of Martinez easily, the whole point is he's too big and I don't think it's a good fight for Pac. Hence going a step further and suggesting he fight the Super 6 winner. However it looks like you post with an agenda, hence you read something then just use it as a jump off to launch into a rant.
