Martinez and Berto don't even bother calling out Mayweather..

You just don't like it because I can see through your charade. I made a series of reasonable, if cutting, remarks that you ignored. The best riposte you could summon was the tired cry of "f*g". And yet you sell yourself as a forum sage. I suspect you're quite young - late teens early twenties? You disguise it reasonably well because your grammar skills are above average - but you let it slip with your angry retorts occasionally.Comment

I'm not sure I follow your logic. If Pacquiao had made Margarito come down to 147 (where he has done the bulk of his work) would the win have been more significant? If so, why? Unless, of course, you're giving undue credence to the alphabet strap that was on the line. I don't recognise his 147 or 135 straps either - who cares about the belts? Quality of opposition and manner of victory is all that matters.Comment

Alphabet belts are part of the game. Pac's legacy is built on 8 titles in 8 different weight divisions. As you stated, the belts have been watered down, then why is Pac further delegitimizing them by asking for catchweights? Margarito was never credible opponent for Pac to gain an "8th" title. Hell, he wasn't even ranked at 154. Talk about quality of opposition.Comment

LOL @ forum sage. Is that how you see me? Third time you mentioned it. Of course, these silly little mistakes (and your other tired comments) are exactly why I know who this alt is. Pretty pathetic. It took you nine cries/posts for attention but I finally replied. Cong****...because that's all you're getting. Feel free to write back. Lord knows you can't help yourself...f*g.

And as I said to the other guy. If you think Margarito was an easy night's work, you've been spending way too much time on the Internet, buying into your own hype and becoming deluded by other keyboard warriors.Comment

Because they know he would never bother with them and it's not realistic. It's not even near the realm of possibilities. Mayweather is essentially treated as semi retired.
Meanwhile every Pac hater in town wants to criticize and demand who and under what terms Pac's next opponent be fought. Pac's willingness to please is essentially being taken advantage of. With the way a lot of fans are acting, he'd be better off acting like Mayweather and giving them nothing. In terms of his next opponent, other than Mayweather(with whom a fight can't currently be made) it would be impossible to please all critics. Save for a fight against the middleweight champion of the world, which is an outrageous request considering Pacquiao was at light weight a couple years ago and only weighs in around the mid 140's. Whoever he picks, Pacquiao = Damned if he does, damned if he don't. Please discuss.
Martinez has called out Mayweather and says he wants to fight him. Berto probably doesn't because he's with Haymon too.
Pac's willingness to please? Hmmmm... I don't know if I believe that anymore, seems like he'll fight any stiff Arum puts in front of him.
He should fight Martinez at 154 since he's "jmw" champ.
Martinez and Margarito are basically the same size.Comment
