People need to stop hating on Abraham, he's lost one (legit) fight in his entire career, he's still a boss and he'll show that again.
Arthur Abraham: I'm just not a super middleweight. (I will fight Ward)

Abraham will have to sink or swim. He has a chance to improve, if he dedicates to it.
The question is, how can you even dislike Froch? He's everything that is right about boxing - with every fight, he wins more boxing fans over and more people who hated him see the light.
So I have little faith unfortunately he'll improve enough, especially with the same trainer.
As for Froch my avatars probably a clue, but I find him to be dis respectful to too many other boxers when it's not even relevent, just to attention seek. Be it Calzaghe, Khan, Harrison, Abraham. He's not all that popular mainstream wise for a champ really, and for good reason. I don't dislike him like I used to because he's willing to face the top guys. I still think he's over rated though and will definitely be picking up more losses too.
It's Ward's tourney to lose now imo, and I actually think he beats Bute too. Never thought I'd say it and am usually aprehensive to of a new ish champ, but he's clearly more widely skilled and rightly favourite.Comment

He's plenty big enough for 168. He's got the power and the punch resistance no problem. In fact he's about average build for the weight. What he means is that he can't bully people (particularly Froch) at 168. No Arthur, you've got to box a bit more. It isn't even as if he couldn't land on Froch - he just didn't really try...
All credit to Carl of course, but it was woeful from a one time p4p fighterComment

You really need to stop making **** up, everyone knows Dirrell was beating the **** out of Abraham and winning all the rounds before Abraham hit Dirrell when he was on the ground. Abraham clearly only beats shot fighters and C class fighters.Comment

Nonsense. Abraham was coming for him strong with plenty of time for the KO, he knew it and acted his way out. Abraham will rise again, just like Froch did.Comment

BTW froch got outboxed by dirrell and dirrell was robbed.
dirrell is not my favorite fighter but he still deserves respect for what he has done......Last edited by americanbot; 11-29-2010, 06:36 PM.Comment

AA isn't too small for SMW, period. If he doesn't adjust, he won't be too big a deal there, and that's all it is.
That's completely Gay, man.
He's already said he was mis-quoted re. Khan. He was fighting Abraham, so how is it not relevant to talk a little and build the fight? He was trying to get Joe into the ring with him, everything he said about Joe was relevant to that.
Anyway, who cares what a man says? It's what he does, and Froch is doing. What did Calzaghe do for years?
Are you seriously trying to tell me that David Haye is worthier of investment than Froch is?
That Froch isn't a domestic Superstar is one of the biggest, most head-shakingly frustrating travesties going and says it all about how clueless and how far off the pulse the British sports media is anymore, especially when it comes to boxing. If Sky, ITV or anyone had a clue, the nation could be excitedly following one of the best, most fearless runs ever put together by a British prizefighter, but the casual public is left mostly oblivious instead.
It's the inept attitude of the media in this pokey, ****** little country holding Carl back from being a Superstar, not the fact that he talks some trash.
In a past era, Froch would have been a domestic superstar.
He's much worthier of that than Calzaghe ever was...Joe only got it late on, because the large part of his Championship run was nothing special. And the acclaim and plaudits that he received from the establishment at the end of his road were so hollow and hypocritical, anyway - he had to get the US' direct attention (by clubbing Lacy) before he really got any serious shine in the UK. JC fans who didn't follow his whole career live in some fantasy where he was always a star in the UK and always attracted intense interest.Comment

He is shorter than most super middleweights but he belongs in that weight class.
He struggled to make middleweight for years before he moved up as well.
He can't blame his lack of height on the fact he lacks determination or the ability to adjust.Comment
