JMM weighed in a pound under the lightweight limit at 134 for the Katsidis fight. And if you watched how many punches he threw in that fight and turned it on late in that 9th round to stop Katsidis, he was far from starved and dehydrated.

That said, all of that is irrelevant. What is relevant is that Pac and his team are total hypocrites. Its just like the USADA testing with Mayweather. If its not a big deal, why not comply? If Pac weighs in at 144 and supposedly can make 140 easily, why not comply? They are simply trying to make JMM go away or come in at a disadvantage (in their minds and his.) Just like they're hiding behind the lame I'm scared of needles or I'm superstitous excuses with the USADA testing to avoid Mayweather. They just know that the legions of Pacwh*res will support and back anything they do, no matter how ass backwards it is.

dude, it's normal for fighters to overstarve or overshoot their target weights by a lb or so, but they rehydrate 10-15lbs easily. cotto was 146 against tony. tony was 146 against mosley. etc..

Manny still won't fight Sergio Martinez. Their asking him for a
catchweight but Pac can't do a catchweight with JMM? Pac
is turning out to be an over hyped fighter. It is all coming out

I meant that Manny may be growing in weight. If Sergio can keep at his current weight, there is at least a chance of it happening...maybe in a year or so. Just a thought, really...

Only for a limited amount of time. **** is hitting the fan. Manny
career and choice of opponents is becoming a bigger spectacle
than Arum or anyone on Pac's team wanted. That's why Arum

Juan Manuel Marquez may get what he ask for. Marquez gets knocked out within 6 rounds if they fight in any weight right now. Marquez looks like a fat old man right now. Swings too wide and gets hit way too much. Sounds like a Manny Pacquiao type of fighter at this point. Pacquiao completely different fighter since the last time they fought. Juan Manuel Marquez should fight Amir Khan and Rafael Marquez should fight Bobby Pacquiao or that fight should be the under card for Manny & Juan Manuel lol.

I know Bob Arum did not just say that, "it is ****** to ask the welterweight champion come down or starve himself down below the welterweight limit." I guess the old man forgot that he asked the then welterweight champ Cotto to come down to 145 And Roach asked then welterweight champ Mosley to come down to 142. These guys are hilarious. The only thing worse is the Pacwh*res who buy into this bull****.

But we are the haters when we bring this up. We aren't going up against savey boxing afficionados, we are going up against a large contingency of people who are in love with a fairytale.

You missed my point. I hate catchweights. And I solidly agree with everything Arum said. Problem is, Arum said it. He said asking the welterweigth champ to come in below the 147 limit is ******. They had Cotto defend his title at 145. He said that he's not interested in making fighters starve down. They asked de la Hoya to make a weight he hadn't made in a decade. My point isn't what Pac should or shouldn't have to do. My point is Pac's team are total hypocrites that say and do whatever they want without any fear of backlash. That's why we keep getting these crappy fights and idiotic quotes from them daily.
