SUPER 6: Ward, Froch Or Abraham.. Who Had The Easiest Route To The Semi-Final?

Ward doesn't hold and hit. He smothers and hits... (I think ur confused by that) So here's the difference. When u get in close, Ward grabs u, but within a second, he lets go (not holding) and unleashes a flurry. After the flurry he smothers u, staying chest to chest with u while he pushes and leans into u, which keeps u from being able to punch back. Than he may throw a couple more punches or whatever. That's why the referee never breaks him up right away. That's not holding. Sometimes he hooks ur arm, but u still have one free hand and so does he, so that's not holding and hitting either (it's certainly dirty, but its not holding and hitting).

Holding is what Dirrell did in the Froch fight, when u wrap ur arms around the person leaving both of u immobile. Holding and hitting is what Arthur Abraham would do when he would push ur head down with his elbow and punch u to the body. Holding and hitting is when ur holding ur opponent in such a way that leaves him incapable of hitting u back while u throw at will.

you don't have to try and justify the holding and hitting. ward isn't a great inside fighter, he's a hold-n-hit guy. just give it up.

i like how ppl still act like ward fighting at home somehow changed the course of the fights. he dominated both green and kessler, no amount of ref interference would have changed that fact.

anyways, ward still had the easier route, but it wasnt necessarily his fault. dirrell dropped out, if he hadnt, then ward would have probably had one of the tougher routes in all honesty.

It definetly would've changed the Kessler fight. Green is what he is.

he fought 2 easy replacment fighters (Green, Bika).

he got a tough start with Kessler, but this and all 3 fights were in his ****in hometown so everything was crooked up and he could paly dirty all night long.

Actually he got 2 points given to him because his best friend refused to fight him. The Bika fight was'nt even part of the tourny. He did'nt have to fight Bika. So definetly Ward has been taken by the hand and walked str8 through the Super 6.

Negative sir, Mayweather is hardly a dirty fighter in my opinion. Ward's entire strategy revolves around shady moves. Mayweather can fight wherever he wants. Ward however, he better stay in Oakland.
