His dominance over Kessler (Calzaghe's best win) is what surpassed Joe in my book. Just by entering the Super Six, I have way more respect for Froch and Ward than I ever will for Calzaghe, who basically hid in Europe his whole career until Jones and Roy were washed up.

Kessler was never the same after the lose to Joe. and Joe and Bute both looked better against a younger, fresher Bika then Ward fought. Please explain your logic?

Ward has beat Kessler, it was a very good display with a few dodgy headbutts involved.

Since that fight he hasn't fought anyone with real significance in my opinion. Green and Bika are not great boxers and i think Ward will be in for a tough night against Arthur Abraham in the semi finals.
