Pacquiao has learned some new tricks but still haven't used these
new tools in the ring with technical fighters. There is a possibilty
that Manny new abilities won't make him too dominate against
Marquez, being that Marquez is a technical fighter and could adjust
to Manny still.

I would not try to defend Pacquiao at all cost. But logically just think of these:

• Pacquiao was strictly a JAB-JAB-STRAIGHT LEFT and yet he:

1. knocked-down Marquez 3 times and drew the fight with Marquez in the first fight. There was a controversy when one of the judges didn't know what he did in not giving Pacquiao an extra score on that score. EDGE: PACQUIAO

2. Knocked-down Marquez 1 time on their second fight. And traded a toss-up fight the rest of the way. Another controversy, the main KD was also a big influence on the final tally. SPLIT DECISION: Pacquiao

NOW with the "new" PACQUIAO, I would think that he would not only win it but annihilate Marquez because he now has more arsenals and footworks in him. He is also stronger and have more stamina.

Not taking away from Marquez known as a technical and one of the best counter-punchers of our time now but I don't think he has enough to contend the "new" Pacquiao.

Sure Marquez can adjust, there's no question. The next logical question now is:

• Can he adjust to Pacquiao's new power and full-throttle combinations from all angles unseen from his 2 previous fights with him?

• Can Pacquiao adjust to Marquez's power after taking shots from Margarito, Cotto...etc.?

I really think that Pacquiao now are MILES AHEAD. Pacquiao has improved but Marquez hasn't.

Take note: KATSIDIS threw a wicked LEFT HOOK that floored Marquez. Don't you think that Pacquiao can do MORE than that and follow it up with combinations WITH POWER?

Humberto Soto could easily DESTROY/ KO Marquez, Pacquiao, Barrera, Morales, all in the same year, one right after the other. This is why they're all scared to fight Soto, cause Soto is vicious in the ring, and has scared Pacman, Marquez, Barrera, Morales, Robert Guerrero, Jorge Linares, and so many others into not fighting him. Soto is the Most Avoided Fighter in Boxing. thats why he has to fight bums for now, cause the big names duck him.

Marquez and Schaefer know they don't have a shot. Pacquiao and Arum would never hand over the lead promotion of a Pacquiao fight to Golden Boy Promotions by fighting a GBP fighter. Arum also gives Pacquiao more money and audience fighting in-house, and Pacquiao ---if Marquez and GBP has not realized that yet---does not reward taunts and insults with a big payday.

Floyd fighting JMM at a catchweight of 144, then coming in over
weight and people said Floyd cheated JMM. Manny is about

Pac fans have all kinds of excuses. Freddie and Pac are making

Just like Pacquiao has improved, Marquez could too in a match
against Pacquiao. Marquez unlike all of Pac's past opponents
is winning and still fights his heart out.

Especially since he is fighting guys like Cotto and Margarito
at catchweights when clearly Manny is the fastest of them?
Pacquiao could have fought Marquez again instead of Diaz,
Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito. Pretty sure
a Marquez fight would have been more competitive then
all of those. I think Pac is a good and exciting fighter
but with all of this supposed to be new skill Manny has,
he still didn't test himself to see how good he really got.
I learned that bigger, pressure fighters can't deal with
Manny's speed. Pac made his point, so now it's time
for him to put them skills to the test. I would be down
to see Marquez in the ring with Pac before Mosley.
