Problem with US boxing, it's all in Vegas.

It takes years to get famous and rbing a crowd.

Manny and Foyd took 5 years + to get their fanbase to how it is.

If people actually moved from place to place in big fights, and promoters worked with the wealthy and rich comapnies, then business can be brought to Vegas.

However if everything is in Vegas, then there's a small catchment area only.

Actually, i give Arum credit because he did exactly that with Floyd.

He had mayweather fight in Atlantic city, Miami, Portland, Michigan, etc. They moved FMJ around the country to build his name.

Boxing needs to expand away from Las Vegas...the tickets are too expensive and not everybody was visiting Vegas on Thanksgiving weekend

Like the way Margarito/Mosley took place in LA with cheap tickets for the fans......that drew a huge crow, Marquez/Katsidis could've done the same


I'm pretty sure the HBO numbers will be huge though
