Only Mayweather and Pacquiao can draw over 10K to Las Vegas. Make that in Texas or California and Marquez will get a significant crowd.

JMM will have the highest HBO rating of 2010.

Boxing is dying in America even when great fights are made.

              marquez cant draw without pac.
Who do you propose he fight?

I hope you don't say Andre 'I can't draw 1000 people in Florida, even though I was born and live here' Berto.

I hope you don't say Shane 'I can barely draw 2000 people in California, even though I'm fighting Mayorga, am a future HOFer, and I was born and live here' Mosley.

You *******s are sounding a lot like *****s for injecting all this #s/popularity **** to justify not fighting someone... Hypocrite.

5k didn't sound like that bad a number to me, considering the only guy on that card the public had any knowledge of was JMM, and most of that crowd is probably for him.

I agree that will be the highest rated because I think this was a free preview weekend

Marquez is happy man with his TKO win and his $1.25Mill pay check. The 4K plus fans who watched and the probably million fans who watched on HBO were happy viewers. That's all that matters. *******s keep making attendance a big deal.

It takes 2 two tango anyways. it has nothing to do with Pacquiao and Mayweather.

im merely answering the TS question as to why marquez doesnt draw. having drawing power as a prerequisite to fight pacquiao is not my thing. & who are you directing your question to? pac or marquez?

pac has faced marquez several times before either were star boxers.

As for pac, he just fought two weeks ago. how about you STFU & wait till he signs a fight before you start b*tching.

                    b*tch.

There are more big names in MMA right now than in boxing - that is for casual fight fans.

Arum is a sham promoter. De la hoya did better tonight with the undercard - at least he had good fighters.

Boxing is just dead here in the US - MMA is the big draw now - more knockouts, blood, and a match is only three rounds so fighters are forced to put more effort in a short amount of time - more excitement.
He had to ... especially with the huge draw marquez is.
