Bute and Calzaghe defeated Sakio Bika more decisively than Ward

The difference was, Ward fought Bika's fight and not that boring style of his.

Clinching, holding, elbows and headbutts, no that's Ward's style to a T.

Ward obviously is head and shoulders ahead of Bika in terms of technical skills. I'm sure he would have rather outboxed Bika from the outside like Bute did, quite comfortably i might add, but Ward simply couldn't establish it and keep Bika off him. Hell he couldn't even outjab Bika.

Edit - Ward also spent a considerable amount of time crying to the referee about the exact same things he was doing to Bika. 3 times in the first 2 rounds alone.

That elbow Ward threw was one of the dirtiest fouls i can remember. Muay Thai 101.

calzaghe barely beat bika and he held the entire fight. also sven ottke is the greatest super middle of all time. undefeated, 21 title defenses, unified belts and didn't duck glen johnson or get fruity stoppages. pay your respects.

Yeah. And Andre Ward beat Kessler more convincingly than Calzaghe did.

No one looks spectacular in every single fight.

He won the fight. And he did so in convincing fashion.

Glad I didn't watch that fight. Andre Ward is usually boring......all he does is box and hold. Berto did the same **** but now he seems to be getting better at just overpowering his opponents with speed and power
